I was watching in 2008 when he had to pull out of that race in front of his entire country and I felt for him. I'm so happy for him now. It's always great to see people come back after dissapointment. It takes a man to come back.

Watching from it, I dont think its a false start, he just started running before anyone else, he seems more aware of the signal. With a false start, many would have used it to disqualify him, but None did.

When Liu Xiang first showed up in Athens and won, I didn't think much of it. I was proud that he won China's first gold in athletics for men, but that didn't really affect me. Even when he dropped out of Beijing in 2008, I didn't dwell on that. However, the thing that really gets to me is that people were angry at him for dropping out, but he persevered and came back stronger than ever. We know he's not the same LX from 6 years ago, but he's always gonna be my hero b/c he didnt give up. 刘翔加油!
