my 2 cents on double clutching - no need on a bike if youre real good you can change without the clutch just matching revs etc .. double clutch when you need the engine revs to speed up the gear shafts to aid engaging next gear, mostly heavy torque loads like trucks or tractors .. anyways i take it this rider has a slipper clutch ..

to the rider: you aren't that bad or very good in some respects - just like me. Truth is that you and I hold a day job and bike it at you leisure. Just watched David Jeffries "mad sunday" and bloody hell, is he quick or what?? Nice vid
i will show you how its done never been bet on the big hill my top speed 187 on my r1 will be back for 2008 anyone wants to try me for a race feel free only at the isle of man tel0787100121 lol
I have respect for the guy for actually doing mad sunday, 300+ idiots with no real racing expirence let lose on closed public roads, which usually ends in the death of a few riders. But thats why mad sunday is there to keep all the carnage to one day, so the medical teams can cope, and it reduces the hassle for the police over the whole TT week, cause bikers will be bikers at a bike race.
I am not sure, but seems to me that the both lines on the road are the same way. the guy rides fast, but the guys who passed him. I think in the USA is not easy to ride a that speed. you can do it, but you'll get a big ticket or jail. in my country would be easier, a risk of ticket as well but not that bad. I wish i could ride at I.O.M.
Fantastic it brings it all back, I went over the mountain on my own R1. I forgot just how fast those wooden fence posts come past your right shoulder n how the road conditions can change as you get higher. Looking forward to next time I can get to the IOM.
A bit gay, I've done it faster on my Falco thou! In fairness, the two that passed you early on seemed to egg you on which is how it should be and why the law hates us! peace oot
boltech46, i owe you an apology! my comment was made after a few beers and was only meant as a joke. your video was inspiring to say the least and i've no doubt that you'd kick my arse all the way round the circuit! i hope you continue to enjoy your riding and peace oot!
Warmoth, I'm quite new to this call and response youtube thingy and forgive my natural Scottish cynicism but, I'm not sure how to take your comment! As a biker of more than twenty years I'm inclined to trust that you too ride bikes (or, at least would like to)(why would you be looking at the I.O.M) and that you understand why it was that i was due boltech46 an apology!? If your comments were genuine then i thank you for your time and thoughts.
I assure you...my comment was genuine. It's nice to see that someone made a mistake, and then apologized for it. That just doesn't happen much these days, and it's nice to see...
As for riding motorcycles, I've been on two wheels for about 20 years myself (since I was a kid)... I love nothing more than to put on a helmet, leathers, and take it to the street...
P.s, I see from an earlier comment that you're from the states!? You should do the british isles on two wheels, Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. I swear, you will not find better roads anywhere, nice people, good food ( yes we all know that british food gets a bad write up but) Ha! it's 2008, not 1988! It would give you an excuse ( like you needed one, to go to the I.O.M!
I will be going to the I.O.M. sometime in the next few years. I love to watch these guys race the TT. I have the most respect for riders such as David Jeffries, Joey Dunlop, and McGuinness...and I can't wait to see it live. My wife and I want to go to Europe and tour on our motorcycles...I'm sure we'll just make it one large trip to tour Europe, and catch the IOM TT
yeah...it's not something you can be sporadic about... reading up on it, I have noticed exactly what ya just mentioned... It definitely takes planning, and booking early... I can't wait to do it
hey boltech46 ....good video congratulations......
how...?

You are brainless. And no, this is not a compliment.

I have respect for the guy for actually doing mad sunday, 300+ idiots with no real racing expirence let lose on closed public roads, which usually ends in the death of a few riders. But thats why mad sunday is there to keep all the carnage to one day, so the medical teams can cope, and it reduces the hassle for the police over the whole TT week, cause bikers will be bikers at a bike race.

feckin hell mate thats some fast riding there, and i thought i was quick on me old cbr6 !!
respect to ya.

Scary that any asshole can ride the course at speed.Thisa guy had no clue how to ride,I can't believe he did 'nt wipe on that turn what a dick!

Fantastic it brings it all back, I went over the mountain on my own R1. I forgot just how fast those wooden fence posts come past your right shoulder n how the road conditions can change as you get higher. Looking forward to next time I can get to the IOM.

We need Mad Sunday in America..
Except, not only does traffic go one way...but minivans, soccer moms, and blue hairs are not allowed on the road at all

A bit gay, I've done it faster on my Falco thou! In fairness, the two that passed you early on seemed to egg you on which is how it should be and why the law hates us! peace oot

The two that passed me were mates, was waiting for them to catch up, thats why i was looking behind me and being 'gay'

boltech46, i owe you an apology! my comment was made after a few beers and was only meant as a joke. your video was inspiring to say the least and i've no doubt that you'd kick my arse all the way round the circuit! i hope you continue to enjoy your riding and peace oot!
furears3000 4 years ago 2
wow...an apology on youtube...
furears...you are to be commended..
Hell, you didn't even do anything to me and I even forgive you...
WarmothGuitarist 4 years ago
Warmoth, I'm quite new to this call and response youtube thingy and forgive my natural Scottish cynicism but, I'm not sure how to take your comment! As a biker of more than twenty years I'm inclined to trust that you too ride bikes (or, at least would like to)(why would you be looking at the I.O.M) and that you understand why it was that i was due boltech46 an apology!? If your comments were genuine then i thank you for your time and thoughts.
furears3000 4 years ago
I assure you...my comment was genuine. It's nice to see that someone made a mistake, and then apologized for it. That just doesn't happen much these days, and it's nice to see...
As for riding motorcycles, I've been on two wheels for about 20 years myself (since I was a kid)... I love nothing more than to put on a helmet, leathers, and take it to the street...
WarmothGuitarist 4 years ago
P.s, I see from an earlier comment that you're from the states!? You should do the british isles on two wheels, Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. I swear, you will not find better roads anywhere, nice people, good food ( yes we all know that british food gets a bad write up but) Ha! it's 2008, not 1988! It would give you an excuse ( like you needed one, to go to the I.O.M!
furears3000 4 years ago
I will be going to the I.O.M. sometime in the next few years. I love to watch these guys race the TT. I have the most respect for riders such as David Jeffries, Joey Dunlop, and McGuinness...and I can't wait to see it live. My wife and I want to go to Europe and tour on our motorcycles...I'm sure we'll just make it one large trip to tour Europe, and catch the IOM TT
WarmothGuitarist 4 years ago
Warmoth, you just go for it, the TT is unrivalled, however you'll need to plan and book early
faserkid 4 years ago
yeah...it's not something you can be sporadic about... reading up on it, I have noticed exactly what ya just mentioned... It definitely takes planning, and booking early... I can't wait to do it

hey boltech46 ....good video congratulations......
argsenna 4 years ago
MrXtronnick 4 years ago

totally insane! and i like it!!
