  • how...?

  • You should have edited the first 40 seconds out, you nearly binned it because you was going to fast into a corner that tightened up!

  • Almost a crash 0:35

  • the gixer rider was really smooth

  • not really the smothest bit of riding !!! but this was 5 years ago so you should be better by now lol !!

  • I love Isle of man mad Sunday :)

  • Nice riding mate...really enjoyed watching this.

  • HA HA... only watched the first 40 seconds! Nearly crashed @ Waterworks! LMFAO

  • @icecoldbrew92 - i relly hope you don't ride a bike cos if you doyou seriously don't have a clue i'm afraid

  • @ all you critical spastics out there.... that hay bale corner is savage, loads ofpeople stackit there. Unlesss you've actually ridden the mountain then think before you comment. It'snot as easy as it looks as you CAN use all the road, like the others said it's one way for the period of the TT or mad Snday but your brain keeps telling you it's wrong pmsl. It's a worthwhile experience and brilliant. If you are some sort of road safety muppet why are you watching TT vids? get a life.

  • Damn! Wich side is he the most on? : D

  • @jojen17 Isn't it only one way on mad sundays?

  • i thought u were gonna crash so many times lol

  • @icecoldbrew92 It`s one way on mad sunday

  • ps, mind the bails @ 30secs. whoops.

  • If you can't keep it together without going over the line (crossing into the oncoming traffic lane), you've got no business riding on the street. Sure, if you kill yourself, that's no big deal, but going through someone's windscreen and potentially hurting innocent people...well, that's just bollocks.

  • @ProfessorLoco watch it from the start, the road(the mountain part of the circuit) during TT week is made for one way traffic.

surely anyone knowing anything about road racing/bikes would know this.

it is made like this so that we can ride the 'track' without the fear of oncomming traffic, there is also no speed limit on the mountain section, there are cone in place at certain parts , the start of the mountain climb, by the bungalow & at the bottom by the creg.

watch his 2006 R1 TT vid fast.

  • @ProfessorLoco typical yank cunt, you think you know what your talking about but have no clue

  • @ProfessorLoco

make sure you actually know what you are talking about before you have a go at someone baw bag!

  • very dirty driving

  • @ratofswamp watch it from the start, the road(the mountain part of the circuit) during TT week is made for one way traffic.

  • pls learn drive

  • that looks like me on my 5th month of riding.

  • good video !!

    congratulation !!

  • Comment removed

  • thats the luxury of living on IOM as you can run this course everyday and get used to it, maybe one day before I go I bring my bike there and run that course....

  • @seal520 there is no speed limit over the mountain anyway mate

  • no speed limit on mad sunday? lol

  • god ur bad

  • that corner at the waterworks catches a lot of people out !!

  • well actually it aint dangerous cos during tt week the Mountain road is one way! nice bike!

  • No it isnt Dangerous becasue during TT week the Mountain road is ONE WAY up to Creg Ny Baa! Nice riding!

  • No its not dangerous because the Mountain road is ONE WAY during TT week! so it is ok!

  • u very good but cut bends are very very dangerous...

  • This guy has no idea where he is going.

  • Nice ride but take it easy!

  • ninguem cai nao.....que merda de video do karay!!!!!!!!toma no cu entaum!!!!!!!!

  • guy has balls! making passes on blind turns.

  • @Spyke9124

Translation of having balls is: BEING STUPID !!!

  • On Mad Sunday I think there's only 1 way traffic, hence the passes on blind turns ;)

  • Two wat traffic apart from over the mountain on mad sunday, I think,. he may have balls, but not for too long. Some nice riding in there too. More of that and stay alive.

(four wheels moves a body, two wheels moves the soul)

  • Oh :P Thanks for the info ;)

  • " I think there's only 1 way traffic"

    @Euheide

I realized this until after I posted the comment. =) Thanks anywaywas.

  • Np, I'm not so sure now though :P you might wanna read what fox070967 wrote :D. sorry for the confusion, I'm confused myself ;) Cheers!

  • sweating palms just watching that dude ..

my 2 cents on double clutching - no need on a bike if youre real good you can change without the clutch just matching revs etc .. double clutch when you need the engine revs to speed up the gear shafts to aid engaging next gear, mostly heavy torque loads like trucks or tractors .. anyways i take it this rider has a slipper clutch ..

  • that was awesome

  • Now that's a deathy worth risking no?

  • great

  • shut up fags and watch

  • at berserka04.

thats actually incorrect. what you described is actually REV MATCHING.

double clutching is for having to press the clutch rev in neutral and then pressing it again. this style of rev matching was used for earlier cars that didn't have synchros in the transmissions.

  • i think your line is quite disturbed. your apexes are a bit inefficient. thats the reason for your nearly-crash in the beginning. learn to turn in a bit later and choose a wiiide line.

  • i though he was going to run off the road at the beginning too,but otherwise a exelent and brave ride

  • Double clutching = revving while clutch is held in when performing a down gear , puts less stress on your engine and its more race like

  • LOL I read something similar recently, but I have no idea where, however, that is not double clutching at all, you're talking about clipping the throttle on downchanges, this isn't essenial and does not mean the rider is crap I'd be surprised if you can do better, I wouldn't attempt half the shit this guy did on the IOM, a track maybe, but not IOM, double clutching like someone else said is pressing the clutch lever, shifting into neutral, then back into another gear, bikes don't do that........

  • You mean blipping?

  • Where is the highway's other side. I only see folks going in one direction, what country is this?

  • uk closed roads

  • UK - Isle of Man

  • may i ask what double clutching is??

  • oww nearly binned it at 0.35

  • Awesome ride...Thanks ;)

  • love it. wish we could see the speedo properly. he's gotta touch 140 in places

  • What was the top speed you did along the mountain road in the video ?

  • bad ass track

  • Great stuff. Wish I were there...

  • quality!!

  • Thought you were going fast?

Then you were blown into the weeds!

  • Take my hat off to you fella. Superb riding

  • Awesome vid!

  • Man that looks fun! Great video!

  • Fantastic! Thank you!!!!

  • 0:36 close wun lol nearly a wee slip of the bike

  • no it looks good

  • Good clean fun, the do gooders will ban it if given the chance. Stay safe mate.

  • youre quick

  • Not really! Lines are poor

  • good ride mate looked fun thats what it is all about

  • Love it mate! Cant wait to get there!

  • a couple of tips mate, you ran like wow wide.. 'cause you didn't read the road.

it's not a racetrack bud it's a road course, and the quickest way is to ride it like one. use your road positioning so you can see around the corner, that way you wouldn't be running wide and possibily wrecking the beautiful r1!

  • Congratulations man, the best positioning of camera I've seen yet! Lets us see the road and the rider as well!

  • Theres racin and theres tryin to race don't know what that was, take it easy mate.. and whoever asked is it one way? of coarse it's the isle of man..

  • Maybe he found out somebody is porking his wife,so he runed full throttle? :)

  • OH, not another Keyboard Warrior.

They should have a cartoon for you people.

    Batcave-aka Moms Basement

Batmobile- aka Moped with Pink Accents

    Weapons- Computer with Internet Access

    Secret Abilities- Uncreative insults

  • Keyboard warrior sounds fun! :D No I'm just regular guy who likes joking and fun. I'm consider buying R1 for summer time. Cheers from Croatia mate ;)

  • Scary third corner. Pretty snatchy on the throttle pick up and you took some serious risks. Love the drop in by the other rider at 5.57 also, boy that fella can ride. Smooth will always be safer! Nice bike though mate! Take it easy.

  • yea really scary

  • bad ride !

  • Learn to FUKING RIDE.

  • he can but he got no balls

  • Just another morning commute, got to get to the office on time

  • i think the road is one way... maybe not. if it isnt hen fuck me man crazy brave riding

  • Someone order the coffin.

  • Smooth.... I suggest you look this word up in the dictionary. have you highsided yet? You riding looks like an accident waiting to happen.

    Full marks for bravery though.

    Cheerio

  • lol thats exactly what I was thniking, its a good job he didnt buy a ninja, otherwise he'd been highsided into next week, although he's probably there by now...

  • insane, but he needs to lern how to handle the gear shitfter. the guy infront of him at 5:57 was a good rider...

  • You actually were nearly in the bails at waterworks lol mad

  • nice work, you might have cleaned the flies off the screen before straping the cam on. lol

well done to the red n white that basted past beetween windy and kates cottage, that looked brave, i want to see his footage :)

  • Just about lost it at :38secs... Man I wanna bring my bike over there and ride this soooooo bad!

  • bike sounds really bad like its being choked

it should rev much freer than that.

  • Cracking on there - nice vid and impressive wheelies. Bet your sphincter was going when you ran wide at the waterworks!!

  • Looks like alot of fun. Keep up the good riding, bet it sucked getting passed twice in a row like that.

  • Good riding??? This is worst riding i have ever seen. I cannot tell you how dangerous this guy is on a bike. He takes bends without any understanding of road postioning and just hopes for the best.

This is reckless riding and he should be forced to take advanced riding course before he kills himself and someone else.

  • It's not a very convincing performance!

    But, keep practicing

  • Bit wide at the waterworks nearly in the wall mate haha

  • So do people really go round the TT on Mad Sunday in Ford Ka's and white vans? I was thinking about taking the Noble in 2009 but was a bit worried about holding everyone up. Maybe I've got nothnig to worry about?

  • Salut

    Are you still in life???

    you drive like a bitch

  • wtf that suzuki owned you at 4:30 :S

  • omg.... your crazeh! Very good to watch though ;) (Nice weely) :D

  • i did the course a few moths ago and nearly shit my pants on the mountain section.. nowhere near as fast as this guy... very very good riding sir :) cap off to you.

  • Génial !

  • Nice riding, I assume you know where your limit is at! :)

  • yeah nice! and nice sound. 5/5

  • wow ... nice ride ... you´re cazy

  • nice to watch, nice wheelie at the end there haha!!

  • Same as above comments. you keep shutting the throttle more often than what you should...... (more flowing riding style would be nice).

    Not a bad effort overall

    .

  • spot on boss,nice ride.

  • nice one.you may have passed me.

  • how much is it to ride on mad sunday?

  • to the rider: you aren't that bad or very good in some respects - just like me. Truth is that you and I hold a day job and bike it at you leisure. Just watched David Jeffries "mad sunday" and bloody hell, is he quick or what?? Just ignore the pompous farts in the comments about you "must learn throttle control" and "get on a cb125" etc they are probably just as bad as we are. Ride to your sasifaction and limits and know that you come home in one piece. From a bandit rider (was a hayabusa nutter)

  • Very good m8, my dad has same R1 04 :)

  • You wanna sell your R1 and get yourself a cbr125, learn some throttle control, and how to ride a bend, and then start over!!!, awful, you're lucky to be alive.

  • I have ridden motorcycles for over 40 years and I have to say that you are not very good.

You must learn to read the road and use better lines through the corners.

  • Heart in the mouth at Waterworks, I thought you were going over the wall!

  • terrible throttle control, you kepp on bliping it mid corner, go to a school and practice, going quick in a straight line isnt a skill.

  • 3:42 i would have seen RED,game on im after that cunt!!

  • it was so crazy but and stupit :)

  • Man you had a couple of close calls. But awesome

  • All those who are posting comments about COPS Danger & going TOO fast on open roads... please go onto wikipedia and look up the TT races & mad sunday! I thank you ;o)

  • throttle control? is gonna crash if you keep opening it up at the start of a corner

  • The idiot isn't blipping the throttle on the downshifts....basic riding skills!

  • Mite have a slipper clutch fitted...Good riding though.

  • It's Mad Sunday... a celebration of motorcycles. On Mad Sunday the roads are closed and are only open in a one way system so that bikers have a chance once a year to take their bikes around the course at any speed you want, other people on the course know that there's going to be people going fast but they knowingly take that risk, stop being such a fucking killjoy. Nice vid

  • That was me passing you at 8 minutes on my cb100!

  • are you scared of 12,000rpm??

  • are you?

  • lol love the cop. killjoy right there man

  • jajaja he was very lucky to see the police man in time .

  • i have this model of R1 and man dont chat to me unless you have rode one proper...

  • i will show you how its done never been bet on the big hill my top speed 187 on my r1 will be back for 2008 anyone wants to try me for a race feel free only at the isle of man tel0787100121 lol

  • I'm sorry, who is dickless?

  • You are brainless. And no, this is not a compliment.

  • I have respect for the guy for actually doing mad sunday, 300+ idiots with no real racing expirence let lose on closed public roads, which usually ends in the death of a few riders. But thats why mad sunday is there to keep all the carnage to one day, so the medical teams can cope, and it reduces the hassle for the police over the whole TT week, cause bikers will be bikers at a bike race.

  • feckin hell mate thats some fast riding there, and i thought i was quick on me old cbr6 !!

    respect to ya.

  • I am not sure, but seems to me that the both lines on the road are the same way. the guy rides fast, but the guys who passed him. I think in the USA is not easy to ride a that speed. you can do it, but you'll get a big ticket or jail. in my country would be easier, a risk of ticket as well but not that bad. I wish i could ride at I.O.M.

  • Scary that any asshole can ride the course at speed.Thisa guy had no clue how to ride,I can't believe he did 'nt wipe on that turn what a dick!

  • Fantastic it brings it all back, I went over the mountain on my own R1. I forgot just how fast those wooden fence posts come past your right shoulder n how the road conditions can change as you get higher. Looking forward to next time I can get to the IOM.

  • We need Mad Sunday in America..

Except, not only does traffic go one way...but minivans, soccer moms, and blue hairs are not allowed on the road at all

  • very nice video !!!! love the sound of the R1

  • I hope nobody else will die....stupid sucker!!

  • niiceeee =D

  • A bit gay, I've done it faster on my Falco thou! In fairness, the two that passed you early on seemed to egg you on which is how it should be and why the law hates us! peace oot

  • The two that passed me were mates, was waiting for them to catch up, thats why i was looking behind me and being 'gay'

  • boltech46, i owe you an apology! my comment was made after a few beers and was only meant as a joke. your video was inspiring to say the least and i've no doubt that you'd kick my arse all the way round the circuit! i hope you continue to enjoy your riding and peace oot!

  • wow...an apology on youtube...

    furears...you are to be commended..

Hell, you didn't even do anything to me and I even forgive you...

  • Warmoth, I'm quite new to this call and response youtube thingy and forgive my natural Scottish cynicism but, I'm not sure how to take your comment! As a biker of more than twenty years I'm inclined to trust that you too ride bikes (or, at least would like to)(why would you be looking at the I.O.M) and that you understand why it was that i was due boltech46 an apology!? If your comments were genuine then i thank you for your time and thoughts.

  • I assure you...my comment was genuine. It's nice to see that someone made a mistake, and then apologized for it. That just doesn't happen much these days, and it's nice to see...

As for riding motorcycles, I've been on two wheels for about 20 years myself (since I was a kid)... I love nothing more than to put on a helmet, leathers, and take it to the street...

  • P.s, I see from an earlier comment that you're from the states!? You should do the british isles on two wheels, Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. I swear, you will not find better roads anywhere, nice people, good food ( yes we all know that british food gets a bad write up but) Ha! it's 2008, not 1988! It would give you an excuse ( like you needed one, to go to the I.O.M!

  • I will be going to the I.O.M. sometime in the next few years. I love to watch these guys race the TT. I have the most respect for riders such as David Jeffries, Joey Dunlop, and McGuinness...and I can't wait to see it live. My wife and I want to go to Europe and tour on our motorcycles...I'm sure we'll just make it one large trip to tour Europe, and catch the IOM TT

  • Warmoth, you just go for it, the TT is unrivalled, however you'll need to plan and book early

  • yeah...it's not something you can be sporadic about... reading up on it, I have noticed exactly what ya just mentioned... It definitely takes planning, and booking early... I can't wait to do it

  • almost lost it @.36 lol love to hear that engine scream, nice vid mate :)

  • haha you know it (boltech)

  • lol got a bit carried away

    hey boltech46 ....good video congratulations......

  • totally insane! and i like it!!
