a. Remilia has this fear of just going berserk one day and kill everyone in the mansion (including Sakuya)

b. It already happened and that is somehow the reason why Remilia would no longer drink as much blood (apparently, to control herself) and she would get nightmares from that very day she almost killed Sakuya.

@Knuxsu2015 It's unknown, I think. I think it's been said that Zun likes to see the creativity the fans have so probably this is a fan's interpretation of how Remilia and Flandre became to be who we all know they are now.

My theory, based on this video, is that her ability to manipulate fate (subconsciously, I believe) must have had something to do with it. Maybe she was aware of the vampire lore since she's not originally from Gensokyo and wished with all her might to be one and.. yeah.

Actually this Remilia dream is maybe happened some long time ago

That maid was the real original Sakuya Izayoi who pity Remilia and Fladre and was kind for them, but however Remilia slayed all maids in frenzy

After that Remilia realize she just slayed this kind Sakuya, she went regret what she was done and promised to dying Sakuya she and her sister wont never kill humans anymore this way.

Long time later Remilia beat 1 vampire hunter, pityed her and named this to ''Sakuya Izayoi'' new maid.

You know, it's an extremely sad concept. I havn't watched the anime, but those girls were only exacting revenge for the sins of their abusers. They killed everyone, not noticing who they murdered. They almost lost someone dear to them. But it was their abusers who were the true murderers. They killed what chance of true happiness those girl had. So i believe that it was justified :)

I wouldn't go as far to say the video ISN'T cannon, because according to Akyu, the Scarlet sisters were not the original inhabitant of the mansion, and, if memory serves, it was there about 300 years before they arrived in Gensokyo. There's no telling what else could have happened after Sakuya joined them.

I think people are confused, or I'm confused. Since it's a dream, it could mean many things. My thoughts are that she was remembering how she took over the mansion from the previous owners (Parents?), and then because of what she did back then, she imagined "what if I turned like that on Sakuya?", so it's more of a dream than a memory.

The only flaw i see is that if those people were the parents and they locked the sisters up like that, I doubt Remi and Flan would have that kind of garb.

This probably isn't very accurate, but it has really great thought. The only issues I really have are: Flandre's backround in this(Adopted? The girl doesn't even know where her food comes from and knows little of the outside world), Sakuya(A human lived 500 years?), and How Remi got the mansion(Adopted? but she's a descendant of dracula (tepes), right?). But I have to admit, no one could've known all of this so this was one of the best attempts I've seen.

According to there past Remilia & Flan used to live with an Uncle/Guardian in Eastern Europe before they came over & made there way to Gensokyo.

That is the most widely excepted back story for them given that ZUN stops his official back story/explanation for them at where they came from. (Eastern Europe)

The depiction of there Guardian's being depraved & abusive is simply this artist explanation as to why they ran away after Flain killed there Uncle.

I liked this scenario.

Chief maid Sakuya, the lone survivor, was protected by her pads, and then the bond is forged between them.

It would have seemed that through the killing and the outlash of Remilia, she knew when to stop. My theory is that Flandre decided it was fun, and she wanted to do it more. It's possible, if this were canon, that the event could have damaged her psychologically. Remilia, having matured through the event, hugs her sister tight.
