The "reporter" in this (absurd title) couldn't even manage to get the mic's input from the real subject(s) of this report. A tip to this "crew" (if you're not already pumping gas or sweeping floors): "You're NOT Shakespeare, and the story isn't about your VERY weak writing or voice-over work, it's about the men and women that served in that magnificent part of our US military. Forget yourselves and REPORT."

@rog197236 Don't blame anyone other than the Cold War ending and the generals who made the plans and recommendations to congress. Same with Alaska Air Command and Continental Air Command. It simply out lived it's need. But hey, I was in TAC and PACAF
@rog197236 its a different world now then back when this was filmed. That cost a lot of money to keep operational. I believe it was the seocnd largest to maintain in the US armed forces. Military action isnt the same as it was back in the cold war.
@rog197236 It wasn't Bush Sr's fault. General McPeak got rid of SAC because he was a TAC guy/fighter pilot and they were always jealous of SAC. He ruined the Air Force and totally revamped the uniform to look like an airline pilot's uniform. I am glad he left.
