Hello aurielMoon, Thank you for watching and commenting. I've seen geta thongs made from a variety of materials including reeds, vinyl and most commonly fabric cords. Depending upon the material the thongs may be woven or simply tied together with a knot and the affixed to the shoes with a special long knot at the bottom.
