@TheMrShithappen My comment was to Scruck who claimed that "J35 Draken was the best fighter in Europe until USA stationed F-15s'in Germany". They had Viggens before the F-15 entered European airspace. And the Viggens IS a much more capable aircraft. It should be,

Most likely an ex. Danish Air Force Draken, even if admittedly it looks more like a Swedish one.. It doesn't seem to have the 'ugly' nose of the Danish Draken, nor does it have the enlarged fueltanks.. so who knows?? :)

well well sean young a women pilot launches a stinger missile on the the hostile draken. 1991 operation deset storm private first class dolores eduardo of 27th army support class did the same when an unidentified Iraqi mi-24 Hind toasted and chopped her entire platoon.the hind took a hit but was still undamaged but an A-10 from the 5th ground attack sqdrn destroyed the hind.unfortunately dolores lost her both legs.

The enemy in this movie was a drug lord, not a military so weapon systems were what the drug lord could get. There were plenty of tactical problems with this movie since they tried to make it part Airwolf part Top Gun. Basically the Apache would have been 15' off the ground with the J35 needing to visually see the aircraft or have doplar radar to spot the Apache. The Apache can just pivot and shoot, no reason to "chase" the J35. Rockets wouldn't have worked against the J-35.

Kul, det var längesedan man såg detta! Men visst heter filmen Firebirds i Sverige, och Flight of the Apache i USA?

Blue Thunder handlade väl om en supertyst blå polishelikopter som kunde loopa och skjuta ner F-16 plan?
