  • 3:37 nolife and there we got what he is doing at the days!

  • Youmust have no better things to do if I built that without tmi

  • @lightningbolt7777 invEdit

  • @Salajapaju I bet it's better than an Intel atom lol

  • If you did all of that without Inventory Editing, you sir, are a pro.

  • dude you are sick ...

  • ok so.. save a java program to the memory and load it up.. and make a colour piston screen or something

  • I can't even make an automatic door!

  • minecraft gift code generator :) :D xD

  • Let's say you make a computer in minecraft. Let's also say that you program minecraft into said computer. Let's say you can play minecraft effectively on computer in minecraft, playing minecraft. So, if The minecraft within a computer within minecraft within a computer starts lagging, is it the minecraft computer that is lagging, or the actual computer? Anyway... You should make one.

  • Soo

  • I don't get how people can build that1

  • Since when is 'C' and 'E' a number?

  • @RyanDolan123 google "hexadecimal"

  • @Salajapaju Nah I'll use bing.

  • @RyanDolan123 lol, there are 3 common number systems. The one you know is decimal, or base 10. The foundational language of computers is binary, or base 2 (the only numbers are 0 and 1). In binary, a nibble (4 numbers) can represent a maximum of 15 in decimal (1111 in binary), so computers use shorthand called hexadecimal (base 16). Since we only have 9 numbers...the letters A,B,C,D,E and F were used to represent 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 (respectively).

  • @Salajapaju : Haha ok well money is a good enough answer. Personally I find ALU/CPU design and programming in assembly etc pretty boring, so I can't understand the fun in it personally. I do like high level programming like in C++ or whatever though. Even though some of my friends think I am boring.

  • Like any CPU it would be disastrous if you spilled water on it! XD Very impressive.

  • or you just google "random number generator"

  • If you have this much time to burn why don't you just make your own game. It would be way less of a waste of time than making this video.

  • @DefiniteIntegral01 i made the computer for fun, and to test myself.

i made the video because of my ego (and youtube is giving me internet money for it).

  • @Salajapaju

That's not how spell "internet monay"

  • @DefiniteIntegral01 There's a big difference in the skill set required to program a video game and the skill set required to build the circuitry for a CPU.

Not saying that this guy isn't capable of coding a video game; after all, with his knowledge of low level computing I'd be surprised if he didn't know some form of ASM already. However, if he doesn't know a programming language he would have to learn one.

  • @IPlayInBeastMode what's ASM? i know C, C++, Java, Python and VHDL. :p

  • @Salajapaju What's ASM?! Why it's Assembly, of course!

As for knowing c / c++ / java / python / VHDL (never heard of it), that's pretty neat. I happen to know c / c++ / python as well. It's somewhat redundant to say you know c and c++ though. Also, I've never had the interest to learn java.

  • @IPlayInBeastMode ah, assembly. that's just when special 'user friendly' names are used for the instructions right? if so, then yeah, i know it.

VHDL is sort of like a logic gate style language. i believe it's used to design modern CPUs, but i would have to check that fact to be sure.

  • @Salajapaju "ah, assembly. that's just when special 'user friendly' names are used for the instructions right?" Yeah, basically.

VHDL sounds very interesting; I'll have to look into it.

  • a computers not a computer unless you can spell boobies

  • yea well, i can build a house out of dirt

  • But where's the flux capacitor?

  • AOOB was almost BOOB

  • Im really interested how a random number generator can be created in Minecraft. Could you make a video explaining just that part? Also, I'd be interested to somehow calculate how 'random' your number generator is. Thanks!

  • @Styhn there should be a link at the start of the video that explains how it works. and it isn't fully random, but random enough for anything you could ever do in minecraft.

  • Interesting ))

  • now build a piston color screen and add it to finally do a mineception

  • @Salajapaju I love redstone, you can anything with it, but i made a 8 bit random number generator with 3, 7 segment displays(was used as the server lottery), and it took sooo long. You have incredible patience to do this my friend...

  • You, sir, are the god of redstone!

  • I don't get it.

  • Cool don't know use ?

  • So.................

    practical use?

  • @nodvick Non I think..

  • @nodvick Learning!

  • hülye fasz inkább veté vóna egy karórát-.-

  • how many month did u bulid this? do u get enough sleep? O.o

  • Comment removed

  • Wow. I've been programming for years but never bothered to learn how things operate on the bottom levels. A few months ago I read about the machine code operations, and now to see it in action, from the inside of the machine none the less... This is awesome.

  • uhh.. i can make a cool door with redstone

  • So you're basicly walking around in a CPU? Just like you were a micro-animal.

  • Just one question.......WHY?

  • @MLKxXMoDzXx because he can.

  • Map download plz

  • I'm the 76,000 viewer!

  • Why didn't you use buttons for the levers at "Write next location" and "write at location 0" functions.

    Also, this is beautiful.

  • I wish i could see intel Core i7 in MINECRAFT. You wont be able to have the same clocks. Just i wonder how big it would be.

  • why are you saying its important to write at blah blah blah when theres no link for

    download

  • you just won minecraft

  • how long did that take you?

  • sick

  • its like an 8080, but freaking huge XD

  • How bad would it be if someone randomly logged on and destroyed ONE redstone block. lol. Awesome job.

  • Today I've built a dirt house. BEAT THAT.

  • Do you guys have lives?

  • How did u created that crafting table? 0.15

  • after about 10 sec. i got bored and read the comments...

  • Not Assembler - Minessembler :D

  • SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSsssssssssss......

  • then along comes me with my tnt and redstone >:)

  • "That's a nice accumulator you've got there... ssssss"

  • is it possible to make a solid state disk that can remember programs.

and let you switch between the programs.

for example you can play a game if you press a handle.

or open a calculator when pressing a other handle all on the same processor.

if this is possible you can make theoretical a OS with a giant screen with redstone torch pixels right?

  • @extreem573 Theoretically you could make any type of computer in Minecraft, with an output of black and red. Realistically, the amount of time needed to make it makes it improbable

  • @LordHondros aha, sweet just wana know :)

  • @GoBlue9810

    ....

The computerknowledge is strong in that one.

I'm sure you wasted time on something other people would find pointless

  • all my money, take it.

  • and I thought I was insane.

  • i dug a hole earlier, shud have caught that one on camera, just to prove my awesomeness

  • @TheRealDerbymutt it's hex based (which means it also uses A B C D E F). A=10. B=11. C=12 D=13. E=14. F=15

  • Frakin nerd.. I LIKE IT!

  • i made a house of dirt today :>

just jk great job. maybe i will do a cpu too somewhen. but at that time i'm too lazy and have no time to create such huge thing. and also I don't even understand a fully working cpu (only parts of it) I would need to learn how it exactly works. I like more to use IC parts instead of creating my own IC^^

  • I'm creating a CPU to. Would you consider a collab?

  • @TheRealDerbymutt google "hexadecimal"

  • @Salajapaju I was looking for that comment for a long time, only to find out he removed it...

  • @TheRealDerbymutt I lol'd XD

  • @TheRealDerbymutt hexadecimal lol...a = 10, b= 11, c=12, d=13, e=14, f= 15 (it only goes up to 15)

    This is hezadeximal with is to the power of 16th degree. So cc2a = (13*(16^3)) + (13*(16^2)) + (2*(16^1)) +

    (10*(16^0))

  • @TheRealDerbymutt How else do you express single-digit values larger than 9 in base-16? Oh, tip: "10" is "16" in our everyday counting system (base-10, aka "decimal") :)

  • i know how to make a pickaxe! beat that you noob!

  • How long did this take you to make? It is truely amazing

  • Too much redstone

    Too little TNT

  • You must've mined a lot to get all those diamond blocks

  • this how our calculator looks like.. O.O

  • Normal people would make a giants monument but you no you make a giant computer...WTF

  • next time make film it when it is in minecraft night, results: better sight

  • Now overclock it

  • ommggggg 3:45

  • its cool but theres no use for it

  • Today on minecraft, I made a wooden hut. Your move Salajapaju.

  • @marcosdosh

    i... haven't even updated to 1.8 :(

    ...draw?

  • @Salajapaju ok we will call it even :P

  • You sir, have a job at CERN waiting for you, should you choose to accept it. Be a creeper. SsssSssss. Hear that? It's the higgs boson!

  • its like an old altair 8800!

  • what a redstone genius

  • for people who dont know much about programing at least visual basics you wont understand much about what he says idk much eather but i know a bit of vb so i could understand what he is doing

  • Can you overclock it?

  • Nice Computer You Have There SssssSsssss.....

  • Numbers isnt letters!

  • @polle6000 it is in hex and in hex are A-F numbers!!!!

  • @WarriorOfGermany Long live stupidity. What do you think came first? our letters or hex code? ok then. Its letters, not numbers, Hex code might interpret them as numbers.. but lets save that discussion for a rainy day

  • Minecraft is like recurention. To undestand recurantion you have to understand recurention...

  • How long will it be before we're playing Minecraft within Minecraft. Notch made it easier to change the level height so this opens up a LOT of possibilities

  • @HedgehogStudios1 someone already made that.

  • @Salajapaju you gotta be kiding!

  • @Salajapaju where?

  • @Salajapaju Who already made that!!?? o.o

  • @HedgehogStudios1 Some one made that with kinect

  • Map download? :)

  • @Elsuhi50452 in the description of my 'brief overview' video.

  • This behemoth makes ENIAC look like a tablet computer!

  • a CPU having to process you making a CPU inside of it. CPUSEPTION!!

  • if you break one redstone wire it will say FAIL

  • After i get the save i'm gonna download porn!!!!

  • but does it blend?

  • @420sumthing it's intangible. which means it can be blended as much as a dream or idea can be blended.

  • There is a bed in your computer! :S

  • Can I play Minecraft with this CPU??^^ xD

  • @kruemel1monster no :( but you can play cpu with this minecraft :)

  • amazing!

please can you post how this 16 bit are divided?

  • @albertroswell go to my channel->go to the Brief Overview video->follow the link in the description

  • That's amazing!! Great work!

  • @Salajapaju dude, don't wast your time with people like koojay1. I'm studying informatic and computer engineering, so I know some of the hows it works (not to much) and let me tell you: I feel stupid watching this video. Great job there ;)

  • @Salajapaju dude, don't wast your time with people like koojay1. I'm studying informatic and computer engineering, so I know some of the hows it works (not to much) and let me tell: I feel stupid watching this video. Great job there ;)

  • @WiredDrummer people like koojay1 wtf is that supposed to mean????

  • that is way differnt that playing fucking mine craft u dumb ass

  • what ever ur just jealus cause u waste ur time building stupid shit

  • @koojay1 yeah, i'm totally jealous of your "too many items" tutorial.

oh by the way, there is this button that says "Reply". it lets you send replies to specific comments, rather than having a bunch of random comments that don't appear to mean anything.

  • @Salajapaju what ever dont hate on too many items oh shit look at this i used the fucking reply bar omg

  • Amazing job!! I wish I had half your knowledge =)

  • oh i understand it i just think its silly do waste a hole day or two to build somthing like this

  • @koojay1 it doesn't only make numbers, it wasted your time. well worth it imo.

  • @Salajapaju Hahaha, scientifically brilliant as well as witty. You set a high standard, sir.

  • @Salajapaju WIN

  • @Salajapaju A machine that steals time D: Einstein can pack in :D

  • @koojay1 You don't really understand minecraft do you

  • @koojay1 unlike everyone who builds dirthouses a giant cocks in gold?

  • @mattegeniet Ummm.. zero punc?

  • @lexlazootin yeah :P

  • @koojay1 If no one ever "wasted a whole day" doing stuff like this you wouldn't be able to type a comment in notepad let alone on a webpage which streams videos. Could you please enlighten us as to what universe altering past times you enjoy?

  • @koojay1 I love it when people say people have no life when they're sitting on their own ass doing nothing but watching YouTube videos. Hypocritical much?

  • what is this for?

  • @cacneaunit6 the whole purpose of this video was to trick you (specifically you, no one else) into watching them, so i could waste 5 minutes of your life.

  • @Salajapaju you BASTARD! And also, i meant what was the purpose of the CPU?

  • @Salajapaju wow dude amazing next can you program minecraft :D

  • @Salajapaju burned! I skipped first 3 minutes :P

  • That is amazing, how long did it take you to build? and can we see how the display works?

  • I prefer pussy but ass is fine.

  • i bet in like 10 years you can play WoW in minecraft xD with a redstone in game pc ... xD

  • hey why dont you use button instead of lever ?? :/

  • @musicProAyodance buttons glitch sometimes.

  • @musicProAyodance i think he uses levers because the tick rate of buttons is too short

  • How are you generating the random numbers? I mean seeing the opcode is nice and all, but what does the rand() function do? Are you using the games environment?

  • @VortexNL it's basically a fast binary counter, and it is sampled by the computers main clock. not truly random, but random enough that you wont notice a pattern.

  • This is badass!

  • wtf dude ur a genius

  • redstone scares me xD

  • This is insane... what specific knowledge do you need to create this? Have you made CPU chips before? Assembly?

    Thanks!

  • @jamesluc256 i had a good understanding of logic gates, adders, flip flops, decoders, alus, etc... and i have worked with assembly before.

  • @Salajapaju how long did it take you to build it? xD

  • What's the whole point
