Here's my opinion :)

1. Jemma (saw her in Perth)

2. Patrice

3. Jenny (saw her in Sydney)

4. Carmen

5. Amanda

6. Zoe (I think she needed to draw her notes out more, but she might have improved)

7. Pippa

Jemma was amazing, but I think she was sick that show. She didnt hit the 2nd "bring me down" as she usually does. She used to hit it like this during her standby days.

Next I'd say Carmen because she's amazing. Patrice next, and not 2nd because like chloe said, shes too varied. That, and some of her personal riffs dont fit in very well. Amanda was fantastic but was outshone by Jemma easily.

Zoe was standby or understudy right? She could use some work but she has potential.

Pippa, just no, okay

Definitely Jem Rix is the best one! Jenny, Carmen and Patrice come pretty close behind though! I reckon the audio of Zoe doesn't really do her justice! Have heard she is pretty good as well! :)

I think that Patrice's performances are too varied, sometimes she puts in the riffs, sometimes she doesnt, and sometimes she does half of them! she should either do them or not. in my opinion anyway.

Amanda is a good elphie in my opinion, and it is sooo sad she isnt elphie any more i would of really liked to see her.

Pippa isnt a very good elphie no offence to her,

and jemma is the BEST elphie ever! she has such a strong voice, and i am glad i have been able to see her 3 of the times i went!

Thank you so much for making this video! I saw Jemma, Zoe, Patrice and Amanda. I enjoyed Jemma's interpretation the best by far. The others did it well it was just that Jemma really seemed to have a bit more heart.... that's all.

Jemma, 100% all the way. I saw Amanda twis, and Jemma 3 time in melbourne, at different stages over the whole time it was here. Jemma never failed to blow me away. While Amanda left me dissopointed each time.

Lucy Durak however always made up for her tho! She is amazing, and was the perfet Glinda for me!

Amanda should never have been cast in the first place, and neither should Pippa, who needs to look up the difference between "singing" and "speaking".

Poor Zoe was obviously unrehearsed for this performance.

@rowanmcauliffe First of all, Amanda couldn't handle the role which is why she took an immense amount of time off. You call that amazing? You're arguments are petty and childish. My criticism has nothing to do with my own "talent" so that fact that you brought that up makes no sense, as it has no validity. She is the first Australian Elphaba, not because "everyone loves her" but because she was cast first. And BTW, this is one of the better audios of Amanda, before she sounded like shit.

@rowanmcauliffe I do agree with your statement on Amanda, depending on when this was recorded there is a high likelihood she was sick. I have however never really been a fan on Pippa's voice

After from me with Patrice the Orch. Decided to rush the hell out of the song....... ICKY! Shes such a great singer she just needs time to express it but the orch. seems to want the song to be over.......
