One thing I have to note in fighting Maya, is on her sonic dash. You can reduce it drastically by using liberate. As she charges up, just as you see the wave of energy closing in on her as she is ready to use her dash attack. Use, liberate on her when you see the ring of energy really close. By doing this you reduce the damage to a 1 hp damage instead of majority of it. It helped out a lot.
