Good review, only suggestion I'd say is to take a cue from gearmandude on here, and play the same section for each pickup so people can more easily realize the difference in sound and tone for each pickup. Other than that you did great!

hey mysterynick don't get a tele for that mellow warm sound. The tele is known for its treble and bite. if your looking fender strat would do you better. But if you were to get a gibson, those neck humbuckers would do you justice.

hey man. i have a question, do you know if you can put a fender ashtray on any tele bridge? and does it change your tone?

ashtray covers go in the normal vintage like bridge , originals wont fit , there are some custom made that you can find on the internet , the main difference is the saddles , you've got just 3 on ashtraylike ones. i personally prefer 3 saddles than 6 the pressure on the bridge is higher and that means more sustain , but they are harder to adjust and to keep in tune.

is there a big difference between amercan and mexican fender's instruments buddy? because I want to buy a tele, the mexican costs about 3500 argentinian pesos and the american is over the 6000, so it's a big difference... would you spend 3500 bucks and buy the mexican, wich is the one I can afford, or is it just like buying any other cheaper guitar, but with the 'fender' logo?

ei!!! te puedo contestar en español!!! mira las fender americanas son posiblemente las guitarras con el sonido mas limpio potente y redondo que puedas encontrar , las fender mexicanas están bien , pero no dejan de ser la linea inferior , tienen buena calidad y maderas muy decentes , pero la electrónica no se puede comparar con una americana , creo que debes decidir piensa que es lo que quieres de una guitarra y cuanto te quieres gastar!!! ten en cuenta tu nivel y cuanto te gusta la guitarra

yep , i use gearbox , and you can buy gearbox gold , but i can assure that with the plain version you'll have millions of possible sound mixtures to get "the" sound.

it changes from country to country , in the states you can find them from 500 to 900 in europe they are expensive , i think the uk is a little beat cheap right now , but always look a lot of guitars , test them and then when you find "the one" buy her!!!!!!

no , the sound is a 9.5/10 , the finish i think could be nitro(for the price your paying) , and the only think i dont like is the 6 saddle bridge , y prefer 3 saddles and vintage like bridge there is people that say that that that gives more sustain , i just like the 3 saddles better for no special reason

Uh, Squiers vary in quality. Each one is different. Go play a few in the shop and find a sturdy one. Oh, Derek Whibley sucks by the way. Trust me, signature guitars are overrated. Get a Squier Telecaster Custom. They're much much better.

i have an sg special review already it's not the faded one but the electronics are the same i think the only thing that changes is that the nitro finish is satin , that's why it is cheaper , like the highway one on fender , satin finish lowers the cost i think :)

hey i've seen that koa teles , they wood it's kind of weird/cool looking. nice guitar to have if you like it , the bridge is vintagelike , and it's got alnico pro from seymour duncan , you can compare the tone of those pickups in sd's web , they sound greaat , not that hot dough. the think about teles is yo like them you've got to have them.

standard strats have that fender traditional sound on the neck pup , but they arent as twangy as the tele in the bridge position, jazzmasters have an insanely fat sound compared to other fenders the thing is to try them all and keep the one you like the most ;)

hi , i checked the iceman great guitar it has a flawless construction for its price , the guy that has it on its store wont let me do the vid outside the store and since i dont have a camera right now besides the one in the computer i cant do the vid, i have to tell you the sound is very 80's not that sharp dough it has an incredible output and punch if you dig the guitar is definitely a must.

hey , American teles come with American Tele® Single-Coil Pickups, they sound great , but if you want an accurate vintage tone for nice price you should get seymour duncan Vintage '54 Lead STL-1 and Vintage Rhythm STR-1 if you want something warmer with high output you can have STL-2 and STR-2 they all sound great then you can go for some curtis novak yes they are expensive but for my taste he makes the best sounding pickups in the market!!!
