@joecooper18 Except there are others who have tried to take care of him (coaxing him back to the village with food) and it's choosing to stay there. So, obviously it knows how to live on it's own, it just doesn't want to. Comments like these make it painfully obvious you've never known the love of an animal (dog, cat, whatever) and I feel sorry for you. This video is a prime example of what they mean when they say "unconditional love''. I hope one day you realize that.

@BehindtheVeilOfMaya Erm yes i do and i have had dogs, cats, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits before. People would like to think the dog is guarding the grave. Its just too used to the owner, and is lost without him. this does not show how intelligent dogs are or anything like that.

@joecooper18 What does intelligence have to do with anything? Whether the dog is the smartest thing on the earth or the dumbest that doesn't change the fact that it is staying loyal to it's master even after his death. Unless you can read minds, you have no idea why the dog is staying there. To most it is because he has undying love for his owner and isn't ready to leave his side yet. Say what you will, but I'd prefer this dogs "stupidity" to most humans lack of empathy or compassion or loyalty.
