  • What does "Aupa" mean?

  • @friendsandrussia Aupa is a word used by basque people in Euskera lenguage. It is polysemic: 1. In english it would mean: "Go". In French: "Allez vous" In order to supporting the team or somebody. 2. But also the english "Hi" or Italian "ciao" meaning hello and good bye at the same time (salutations, but informal). We in Bilbao City use it every time. Well that´t all. Sorry for my bad english :-)

  • @gernikako100 Thank you very much! I love the Basque Country! Aupa Euskal Herria!
