@xmalicepunkx Watch the original TV series first, then watch End of Evangelion. You can watch the Death & Rebirth movie in between these two but it's in no way necessary IMO. After EoE move on to the new movies.

Note that EoE is the TV series episodes 25 and 26 rewritten with a completely new plot and the new movies are a total reboot of the whole series. In my opinion they shouldn't be thought of as a direct continuation but instead as an alternative universe of sorts. I don't even know much.

So far, from what I have heard from Tokyo Otaku Mode, Eva 3.0 is either already out in Japan or will be out very soon, and we can expect it in the US by Q1 of 2012
