Not Rex: Criminalizing people with HIV doesn't protect public health

I am actually doing a mock ethics commitee about this very topic. I do believe that everyone has the right to confidentiality but that right ends the moment that confidentialty affects the life of another person. If the perosn takes all the procautions for safe sex then no they shouldn't be held liable BUT if a person who knows they have h.i.v, with holds that information and has unprotected sex with someone, THAT is WRONG!!

I meant to simply reply: "What a strange thing to say. Especially because gay people are not even mentioned once in this commentary."
