The line was changed from "Selling your possessions on Ebay" to "selling blow-up dolls of yourself on Ebay". They also replaced Christmas Eve with a Latin girl. Some cultural references don't quite carry over, so they use something similar. (but seriously, it takes real balls to play yourself in that context!)

Yes, a lot of Israeli's also speak English - but as their SECOND language. There's no reason for the country not to have the show in their actual language.
