Steve: an inspiring person. he died doing what he did best and what he loved. we will remember you steve. (steve irwin- 22 febuary 1962 to 4 september 2006. R.I.P) 4 of september we should call "Steve Day"... i hope that everyone in the world remembers steve. and to the maker of this vid: your very daring arent you? next try swimming behind a shark! (just kidding.) once more, remember steve forever. carry on what he started. R.I.P steve.
This is just incredible! I have had this video on YouTube for about a month. Up until 3 days ago, I had about 140 views. In the past 3 days, this video has received over 16,700 views. Thats about 1 view every 15 seconds! Amazing.
I grew up watching steve Irwin. He rally made this world a bit less ignorent and that is an acompleshment very few people can claim. He was amazing and I think its good that he at least died doing what he loved to do.
Yes, what a stupid thing to put guilt on that poor animal !!!!
This is for abnormals !!! Is it that Steve was born under the sea ? Was he in his natural ecosystem ?
It reminds me of stupid spaniards when blame a Bull for killing a fuckin' machonist torero !!!! They talk and cry on TV sayin', this Bull was an assassin, we had to kill it !!! buah !!! He killed my husband... ans so on.
HA !!! then ? was the bull born to be killed but not allowed to defend himself ?
i think you should speak for yourself rather then our continent, i live in the uk and the amount of names on msn regarding his death is unbelivable, a hell of alot of people respect his bravery and love for animals....
Then lease post a banner in this site with this text:
Only Steve Irwin non-critical fans allowed.
Anything but encouraging, idolatration ans sorrow expressions will be autmatically taken as an offense, no matter what it is, no matter how it's said.
No free opinions allowed, just fanatic mental masturbation to light the burden of our souls because we missed his laste episode... (after 10 years of doing the same).
I was thinking just that myself today! You can see how big the barbs get on these beasts. The barb on this one was as long as my forearm. You can tell when they get cranky because they lift their tail up a little like a scorpion, as this one did towards the end of the video.

jack, I think all of us have seen video proof of Irwin not being a "pussy", as you so delicately put it.

Because people want to see what the stingray that killed Steve is like, and theres a link to to it from Wikipedia.

Sad to see you felt there was no respect in my words, you may read posts twice or at least, don't play the game of judging the other posters.
I could say a thousand fine, polite, respectful positive things about this man, but almost any post are saying exactly the same...
Should I do a copy/paste then, or should I be sincere enough to put my little bit of contrast...
I'm not the lord of the flies, are you ?

Was that the video where he got speared. Doesn't look like it was. Do they have it anywhere?
paulieG123 5 years ago
We're all sad about him passing by, but most of us (in europe) never felt he was such a real hero.
Anyway it's quite obvious he did a lot for making people conscious about the need to respect nature.
Sure we all will miss him, but his son is safer now...

Then please accept my excuses, there was no intention to be the legitimate representative of the european community nor the european continent.
I really don't understand my post the way you did, but at last I'm not a native english speaker so I might be guilty of this cruel ofense...
I prescribe life imprisonment to myself, NO, Better, electric chair.
Thanks anyway for investing your time in my words...
