Finally, a band comes along which embraces that classic metal style/aura, and not only are they NOT laughable, they fucking RULE. I love what these guys are doing. I get that feeling I had when I was 16 and just discovering the likes of Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, etc.

@liampeel100: Man, it is a subjective to say whether a band sucks or not because musical taste may vary. Personally, I think they are a good band, with some element classic rock, but still, I'd prefer In Flames to Ghost. If something is not your taste, it does not mean it sucks. Cheers

I wouldn't say they sucked as much as they probably weren't the right band to be on the bill. In Flames are great in their own right (One of my favourite bands) but it's probably not the best line up to have Ghost on. Didn't suit and a lot of the crowd didn't go for that sort of music.

@AugustinusHipponesis It's the same vocalist (or at least was for a while) And Alcest are more shoegaze than black metal, but yeah Peste Noire are great. He has a new project with Drukh now called Old Silver Key if you're intrested.
Just heard that Ghost is supposedly playing music because they are gathering souls to Satan... Well if this is my free ticket to hell by listening to them, then it may be so because i am VOMIT sick on todays metal world! Atleast this is something good and new.

@Casanix That's what I thought too, but Ghost is doing their own thing here. In a metal world populated by obnoxious screaming vocals and off-tempo doublekick pedals, needless to say, Ghost is a breath of fresh air.

Laveyanism is NOT a religion, there is a complete rejection of any kind of deity (good or bad), its about eye for an eye and celebrating your desires.
