There is a lot of Hypocrisy about UK altheles, when russians and other countries come out of nowhere to win medals, the UK are quick to point fingers about drugs, I remember when radcliffe (another runner who for years was outside the elite) couldnt win a medal, they were pointing fingers at the althletes beating her.

But when british athletes come out of NOWHERE and win medals....its a completely different story cos British altheletes never dope right?

For the who actually watched track and field, kelly Holmes was NEVER an elite runner.....NEVER, for years and years she was just outside the elite, then OF A SUDDEN she's beating Mutola (suspected doper and her training partner) over 800m, this is why people call her lucky, because they have actually watched track and field and they KNOW that Kelly Holmes was NEVER an elite althete EVER.

Kelly became a double Olympic champion on that day. If you don't run, you don't win, no matter how good you are. That is part of the sport.

Dame Kelly Holmes was a British Army Sergeant when she started running in major athletics events. She represented GB for many years with many injuries coming and going, never quite fulfilling her potential. By 2004 she was training regularly with Maria Mutola, whom she narrowly beat in the 800, which was the first time I personally remember her beating Mutola. The 1500 was her best event and she had the confidence to run her own race and win. She is a role model for many kids...

I thought it at the time and I still believe it now, Kelly Homes was pumped up to hell at those Olympics. People aged 34 with the career she had do NOT run like that without being on something, and I believe she won under great suspicion.

She had, finally, a clean slate of running and really progressed into this sort of form, it did not happen overnight. Now as for Marion Jones, if you do the research, you will find she was absolutely clean, but was blackmailed to admit, falsely, that she took drugs. Proof is more attainable in the Lance Armstrong case. Usain will be next, but he is likely clean
