I totally agree with the guy judging BGT: this girl sings. That's it, she sings - not just open the mouth and produce words like so many so-called singers nowadays. She has her soul into the song, and it's just beautiful. That's what I call real art. It's the soul in the music, not just the music itself.
just think 2007 now one new who she was and all she new was the streets of her home town and now she won Britins got talent and the worlds youngest singer and she traveled the world and met new people that she never new possible shes also a good role model for kids no mater what the age. she set a example no matter what the age your dreams still can come true

When i went back to review Connie singing I BELIEVE in Hong Kong, i noticed a rousing applause at the end of the song and thought, "how could i have POSSIBLY missed that the first time?" Answer: wrong video. The 1st vid. i saw was posted by HAHAMAV, the subsequent one by SINGADIFF. It's amazing how 2 recordings of the same event can be as different as night and day. i have to give a thumbs up to the SINADIFF video... wish i'd seen that one first.
leon, i went back and watched Connie sing "i believe" in HK again, and knowing she was singing in a 'very busy mall' and not in an auditorium made a world of difference. All is well. Thank you again for sharing.

She sang 5 songs at a mini showcase in the very busy Harbour City Mall on 1st May 2008. There was a large press group/audience to the front and also many viewing from above on the upper floor.
Connie returned to HK for the Miss HK Pageant in Aug 2009.

Your spouse gets a phone call from a friend and and proceeds to laugh and talk with that friend while you are speaking in earnest. How would that make you feel? That you are not worthy? I felt this, I'm sure Connie felt it, and her parents probably felt it too. Connie probably didn't complain, she just dealt with it. She likely won't do a live Hong Kong performance again. Who could blame her?
Connie usually makes me cry. This time, I cried FOR Connie. Tears of anger and rage, because of the video by hahamav of Connie in Hong Kong. The clamoring and gossiping was so loud by this ruthless, self-indulgent, disrespectful crowd that you can barely hear Connie sing, that is, until the last 2 verses. It would have been no embarrassment for Connie to have said, "come on Mom, let's go home." but she hung in there like a real trooper. God bless Connie, her coaches, and the Talbot family.

didn't know this song before. I looked it up. I guess it has been around a long time. can't believe it, but I just can't hold back the tears when I hear this little girl sing like this. I see she made the judge cry on the British talent show too. but this song is more. no one else can sing like this I don't think. and she is only 6?!? amazing and beautiful. not enough stars to give.
