I'm simply in love with this music. This is a brilliant pairing of Nigel Westlake and Rachel Portman. Either on their own is a genius in their own right. But, to have this collaboration of sorts... full of wonder.

I found your info about the film interesting. I would have preferred fewer inaccuracies, but it is a movie, and quite likely the real story may not have been as interesting on screen(?). As for R. Z.... Good grief! The woman is an actress. She came off pretty well, I thought. I saw both of the Diary movies...what?!...She's not British? Well. She's pretty good.

I went to the lake district,and like Beatrix Potter,was so capitivated by it's stunning natural beauty,that i plan to live there,when i'm older.Like misscroutons,i went to see all of the Batrix potter attractions,and would reccommend ANYONE to go,it's awesome.

sweet - well i grew up with these stories - and grew up in Windermere- (still dont live that far away) so i saw the sights well - every day!

they did an excellent job of making the film and i very much like the music

i saw it twice at the cinemas, but sadly haven't seen it since. hopefully it shall be my christmas present though, and this music, and the book. i agree, the music is so uplifting. this film is not appreciated enough :)

I'd just seen this enchanting movie for the first time. It's such a delightful 'gem' :ö))). I got considerated by a trailer on another DVD - fortunatly! :ö) - otherwise I'd never noticed this movie. And this soundtrack is very very lovely!

i have never cried so much at a movie before...but it wans't of sadness it was so strange...i was just crying...i think tahts what the music does as well as the movie itself! shows waht a good composer can do !

Truly Beautiful...I listen this lovely CD nearly everyday as I awake to it early in the morning and make my bed etc. It's one of my favorite soundtracks now...I love Song #13 "I'm Painting Again" and of course #15 "When You Taught Me How To Dance" by Katie Melua
