@jackskellington101 I'm going into the Disney college program, any suggestions? And what was it like working at The Haunted Mansion..I'd be scared haha
when i did the college program i wanted to work mansion...i got stitch's great escape in tomorowland instead lol. I loved it though. but i think i'll request mansion when i do the alumni program. did you love working there?
LOL your accent was hilarious. Im not trying to insult you, i thought you were a great castmember and your improvised answers were great! But at the beginning of the video i kept thinking to myself "where in the world is this guy FROM?" then i read the description XD
You worked here in the Disney CP? Outstanding! How did you manage to snag it? I'm thinking of doing the CP, but I'd want this job so much--it'd be such a bummer if I got another one, I just wouldn't be able to stand it! Fantastic how you kept in character--I wish I could do that too!
The CP's a great experience. I'll be honest, it can be tough, but for how tough it can be, it's really all worth it. As for how I got Mansion, I will say I suggested it in the interview but in actually getting it, it's really blind luck. To do the CP, you really need to be open to pretty much anything. Trust me, you'll probably be able to stand it far more than you think. :-)
I currently work at the front desk at one of the resorts, after hopping from Mansion to the Safaris to Tough to be a Bug and Festival of the Lion King to Splash Mountain to the Tomorrowland Speedway. So I've been all over the place.
Hah. It's A Small World DOES give nightmares. That ride at three in the morning on Grad Nite was enough to drive us all temporarily insane. I have photographic proof of that.
It wasn't really supposed to be anything. It really was just what came out. People heard whatever accent they wanted to. I got British, Irish, Boston, New York, "colonial", and Canadian. I wasn't really trying for one thing over another and it did change over time, sometimes within the day. When people asked what accent it was, I'd say "Mansion" and where I got it, I pointed at the building.
I used to hate having to stand out and tell people a ride was closed. The guess would yell at ME as if I was the one who closed it. "What do you mean the ride is closed?!? I came here all the way form Piscataway, New Jersey and bla bla bla bla!?!" All day long!
That good, maybe your "acting" accent keeps people from yelling so much. I use to just yell out "sorry were closed for matainence!" and the guest would just yell at me. (I worked at Busch Gardens)
the disney college program is a program for college kids where they live in cp (college program) apartments and work in various departments of Walt Disney World, usually the average length of service is 6 months but can be extended
Good job at staying in character, I liked it a lot.
I am English myself and I think you did sound quite English, but with twangs of other accents.. which I think is a GOOD thing, in that no matter where they're from - the accent will always have a 'foreign' sound to it, if you know what I mean.
eh... u were the best actor at the haunted mansion this summer when i went, went on it a couple times.. ya had some awesome spiffy comments, like you like to keep the walls clean.. and the awesome on time clapping.. good job
Hahaha I'm glad I wasn't there, I would of flipped out if I found out the Mansion was closed, it's my favorite ride, I can recite the whole thing lol, if I lived in the Florida area I would probably be working there hahaha, I miss it already and I just rode it yesterday T_T
It's not really supposed to be anything. It's Mansion. It generally was whatever people thought it to be. I had British say it was British, I had Scots say it was Scottish, I had Irish say it was Irish, I even got a New York accent one time, which I think it REALLY doesn't sound like but it was funny none the less.
that's awesome! I loooove how they always stay in character. If i had to work at disney and I couldn't be a character, I'd want to be at the haunted mansion! whats your name and will you be working there late october? thats when i'm going down, and I'll most likely be riding the mansion a few times. look for two young teenage girls, on dirty blonde, and one red-head with glasses, that'll be us!!

Not at all. It's very tame. The scariest things are thunderclaps and some dark scenes.

I think they mean "is working at the Haunted Mansion at night scary?"

Great job theming I must say....However it seems staged....
