I heard from a friend who went to a Dharma talk by Master Loo Sheng Yan. He said in the Dharma talk that he had a vision in which he tea with the Buddha. My friend was totally turned off after listening to that. However, Master Loo has hundreds of students that are mainly in Asia and his teachings and practices mainly focusses upon the esoteric.

In Dorje Shugden's previous life as Panchen Sonam Drakpa, he was Gaden Tri Rinpoche, Abbot of Gaden, Sera and Drepung all within one life time. That was how highly regarded he was in terms of holding his monastic vows and his scholarliness. In fact, the books he composed is still being used to study to become Geshe in Gaden Shartse Monastery.

Gaden Tri Rinpoche is an elected position and it is rather sad that he allows his position to be jeorpardised by a foreign and dubious religious leader. It is just too bad.

Well we can say one thing, this Gaden Tripa didnt last long or well in his office and he passed away at an early age. It is not a good sign that he publicly asked people not to support DS but he also put the entire Gelug school in a disposition with another new form of Buddhism which has no backing.

Well, with all due respect, he is Gaden Trisur now and I think people would respect the 101 Gaden Tri Rinpoche instead for making a stand for Dorje Shugden and his lineage. Gaden Trisur Lungrik Namgyal is my hero!!! May Dorje Shugden's lineage shine!

Sad scene for Gelugpa, firstly Master Loo is a dubious monk, secondly Gaden Tripa is the highest throne holder of Gelugpa, by no means should he sat at the same level as Master Loo, by doing this, this Gaden Tripa is putting himself and the whole Gelugpa down, so when he criticized Dorje Shugden, sorry to say, it holds no weight.
