i love wearing the Hijab myself. I am so grateful for it, it has helped me realise that outer appearance isn't that important. It's what's inside that counts. whoever falls in love with you for YOU and not your beauty will be the person that fully deserves to be with you.

Most Muslims are sincere and nice people but islam's theology is wrong. Just one error proves that the Quran does not come from God, who is not confused. The Quran does have mistakes-very notably it says Jesus did not die, that he was not crucified. That is a historical fact. His death was recorded by early Roman historians as well as in the Jewish Talmud.

The Quran came about 600 years after Jesus and contradicts Jesus' own disciples' accounts - who were martyred for telling people about Jesus. They lived with Jesus 24 hours a day (eyewitnesses) vs. Muhammad who received his altered version from a spirit in a cave that he believed to be a jinn until his wife and her blind cousin convinced him otherwise. It is not "reverent" to misrepresent Jesus' words and character.

Hi. Sorry about the delay. Muhammed didn't contradict Jesus's teachings which is the important thing. If his disciples are saying he is God, then they are contradicting what he said. By the way, this is, the Qur'an which has not been changed once by any human vs the bible which has been changed so many times it makes no sense. by the way, Prophet Muhammed(SAW) only believed the angel to be a jinn because he was unaware if his prophet-hood. When he knew the truth he received more revelations which he told the people. This is Holy and shows respect for each other and most important for God who Made Us All but I did not understand why always covering the head is necessary and you helped answer that for me.
I think you misunderstood my question about men though. What I meant is women must wear hijab every day when they leave the house and yet men do not need too wear their head covering. Why ?

If eyes are the window to the soul, hair is a woman's crowning glory. Consider the image of a man who has shaved his head bald vs that of a bald woman, for example. On a woman, hair is is a beautiful adornment and when she has it, her beauty comes alive. Location of verses about hijab will follow - i just need time to look that part up :D
Your last question has to do with the purpose for wearing hijab. The foremost because it is an act of worship, whether you are at a mosque or outside of it. The second has to do with modesty, to be judged not by your beauty, but by your personalty and intellect. Your looks should not be the way to make ppl like you, but your ideas, your actions, who you are. Another is so that human bodies do not become objectified and lose their sanctity - such as how female bodies are used to sell cars.

Yes, men also have rules of dress, including that they are not allowed to wear gold, silk, and they must cover themselves from the navel to the knee. 2. men and women do not have to wear their hijab all day long. They only wear it when they are in the company of people of the opposite sex that they are not related to. For a specific list, see the Koran.
Actually, Muslim men DO have their own modest clothing; they have to cover from the navel to the knees and they are not allowed to wear gold jewellery, silk clothing and other feminine clothes. And it's not really a burden to wear the hijab it is actually quite light and when hot it is a protection against the heat. She should wear the hijab whenever she is in the presence of a man who is her non-mahram.

I don't know if you know this but even the lettering is different from the west and the east very dramatically that they do not even have the same appearance and some words in Hebrew and Greek are not able to be translated into English, like did you know there is no indefinite article in Greek? How you know that you are not going to hell? The only guarantee that muslims have, correct me if I am wrong, is that they will all spend some time in hell. And "Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there" (Sura19:72). Muhammad did not know if he would go to heaven "Say: 'I am not an innovation among the Messengers, and I know not what shall be done with me or with you. @RexLawson4eva No body in the world is guaranteed a place in heaven because it is not up to us to make that decision. We can not even wrap our minds around one fraction of the knowledge of God. We may have done something wrong in our lives that is so bad and have not even remembered it. Should there not be punishment for wrong doing? of course there should be. And in 1Corinthians 11 Paul said that if woman prays with her head uncovered may as well have her head shaved. Why is the Percentage of Rape and Harassment High in the Societies that Reject Hijab?
Although these are important and beneficial principles, they are not enough. Otherwise, what is the reason for the high rates of rape and sexual harassment in the West? Women's Lobby Organization that deals with women's issues in Europe indicates that 40-50% of European women are harassed at workplace.
Hijab (head cover) and the Clothes of the Muslim Woman
1-Hijab in Islam
Many Westerners think that hijab (veil) is the symbol of oppression of the Muslim woman.
2-Hijab was an Old Jewish Custom
Although Muslim women are the ones that mostly observe the hijab, it is not correct that Islam is the only religion that orders its followers to wear hijab!
3-European Jewish Women wore Hijab until the 19th. Century
European Jewish women continued to wear hijab until the nineteenth century.
4-Christianity as well believes that Women should wear Hijab
As for Christianity, we should remember Prophet Isa's (Jesus) (PBUH) saying, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." (Matthew 5:17)
Based on the above, it should be clear that hijab was not an Islamic innovation; rather, Islam endorsed it as being a good and beneficiary custom.
6-The Objective behind Wearing Hijab
The objective behind wearing hijab and the Islamic costume is to protect the Muslim woman from the eyes of the molesters. It is not that it is man's property or subjected to him as in Christianity.
"Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off;
and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head. " (I Corinthians 11: 3-10)
If a Woman does not cover her Head, she should have her Hair cut off
In light of the above (the previous part of this article", it was an obligation on the woman rather than the man, as per Christianity, to cover her head; otherwise it must be shaven. The importance of hijab in Christianity can be revealed not only by reviewing this religion in depth but just by looking at nuns at churches.
P/D They not only wear hijab but also what seems as full Islamic dress. If hijab had not been that important in Christianity, nuns would not have been obligated to wear it inside and outside churches. Lady Mariam (Mary), the mother of Prophet Isa (Jesus) (peace be upon him), always appears wearing hijab in their drawn pictures. This indicates that hijab is an essential sacred characteristic in Christianity.

Most Muslims are sincere and nice people but islam's theology is wrong. Just one error proves that the Quran does not come from God, who is not confused. The Quran does have mistakes-very notably it says Jesus did not die, that he was not crucified. That is a historical fact. His death was recorded by early Roman historians as well as in the Jewish Talmud.

The Quran came about 600 years after Jesus and contradicts Jesus' own disciples' accounts - who were martyred for telling people about Jesus. They lived with Jesus 24 hours a day (eyewitnesses) vs. Muhammad who received his altered version from a spirit in a cave that he believed to be a jinn until his wife and her blind cousin convinced him otherwise. It is not "reverent" to misrepresent Jesus' words and character.

By the way, this is, the Qur'an which has not been changed once by any human vs the bible which has been changed so many times it makes no sense. Anyway, the question is not the way he recieved the truth but the fact that Qur'an makes sense, unlike the Bible.

by the way, Prophet Muhammed(SAW) only believed the angel to be a jinn because he was unaware if his prophet-hood. When he knew the truth he received more revelations which he told the people. There were times when his companions had been present when the angel Jibrael spoke to Umar(may Allah be pleased with him).

This is Holy and shows respect for each other and most important for God who Made Us All but I did not understand why always covering the head is necessary and you helped answer that for me.
I think you misunderstood my question about men though. What I meant is women must wear hijab every day when they leave the house and yet men do not need too wear their head covering. Why ?

If eyes are the window to the soul, hair is a woman's crowning glory. Consider the image of a man who has shaved his head bald vs that of a bald woman, for example. On a woman, hair is is a beautiful adornment and when she has it, her beauty comes alive. Location of verses about hijab will follow - i just need time to look that part up :D

Your last question has to do with the purpose for wearing hijab. The foremost because it is an act of worship, whether you are at a mosque or outside of it. The second has to do with modesty, to be judged not by your beauty, but by your personalty and intellect. Your looks should not be the way to make ppl like you, but your ideas, your actions, who you are. Another is so that human bodies do not become objectified and lose their sanctity - such as how female bodies are used to sell cars.

Yes, men also have rules of dress, including that they are not allowed to wear gold, silk, and they must cover themselves from the navel to the knee. 2. men and women do not have to wear their hijab all day long. They only wear it when they are in the company of people of the opposite sex that they are not related to. For a specific list, see the Koran.

Actually, Muslim men DO have their own modest clothing; they have to cover from the navel to the knees and they are not allowed to wear gold jewellery, silk clothing and other feminine clothes. And it's not really a burden to wear the hijab it is actually quite light and when hot it is a protection against the heat. She should wear the hijab whenever she is in the presence of a man who is her non-mahram.

What is wrong is the sense of false piety they create. 6-The Objective behind Wearing Hijab

If a Woman does not cover her Head, she should have her Hair cut off
In light of the above (the previous part of this article", it was an obligation on the woman rather than the man, as per Christianity, to cover her head; otherwise it must be shaven. The importance of hijab in Christianity can be revealed not only by reviewing this religion in depth but just by looking at nuns at churches.

If hijab had not been that important in Christianity, nuns would not have been obligated to wear it inside and outside churches. Lady Mariam (Mary), the mother of Prophet Isa (Jesus) (peace be upon him), always appears wearing hijab in their drawn pictures. This indicates that hijab is an essential sacred characteristic in Christianity.
