  • i love/lurve/loove/laff this movie. thank u for uploading it.. I cant believe this is my 1st woody allen movie(well actually 2nd coz i watched whatever works).. btw the lobster scene is that how phoebe from friends got the idea? rachel is ross's lobster?? (i read the comment in earlier video about the lobster n chemistry thing..) Lastly, any woodly allen movies anyone can recommend me to watch?

  • @kettleism

    Crimes and Misdemeanors

  • Woody Allen...actor, writer, director, and stunt driver.

The man can do it all.

  • @artytoons and his step daughter lol

  • jeff goldblum forgot his mantra

  • this movie puts more recent romcoms to shame

  • 'All they do is give awards here.....favourite fascist dictator - Adolph Hitler....' hahaha...

  • 4:38 "Max, are we driving through plutonium?"

"Keeps out the alpha rays, Max. You don't get old."

    LOL! Classic Woody insanity.

  • Tiny flaw in a great movie: the lobster scene coming back once too often at 6:09.

  • wow... that was the first movie iv seen by Woody Allen.... that was a great film

  • 5.53 is sigourney weaver, just incase you didn't know...

  • This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The opening and the ending are fantastic.

  • wow great movie instant classic for me

  • Gotta love Woody Allen. Every one of his films is just great.

  • I'm a big fan of Woody but I have to disagree with you. He's made a few really really bad ones.

  • @panacea2010, Well i haven't seen everything, so if there is anything bad i surely haven't seen it. But i have heard that after Annie Hall a lot of his work was going downhill.

  • @roguepenguin1994

nah, i wouldn't say that. Radio Days, Zelig, Crimes and Misdemeanors, and Vicki Cristina Barcelona are good flicks. he did make some crappy ones like Melinda and Melinda. great directors are never going to have a complete collection of amazing movies. they always have a couple bad ones from the general consensus.

  • @roguepenguin1994

i've seen them all -- Annie Hall, Stardust Memories and Zelig are faves. for me, he was great up to and including Alice (1990). then it starts to slide, slowly at first, then you realise he's telling the same jokes over and over and getting old while his female partners don't. then things get really painful: Small Time Crooks, Jade Scorpion, Melinda and the abysmal Whatever Works. occasional exceptions - usually when he doesn't appear: Sweet and Lowdown is wonderful.

  • thank you for the upload! :) i kind of forgot how much this made me chuckle!

  • at 5:50 that's Sigourney weaver outside the cinema

  • Thank you so, so much.

  • "Max, are we driving through plutonium??" LMAO!!!!

  • Love it! Thanks !

  • One of the funniest movies ever - thanks for sharing it!

  • what a wonderful film

  • true enough. relationships are a necessity.

  • oxygen, food, and sleep are necessities. Anything else is fudge topping.

  • that would be your minimalistic definition of necessity

  • oxygen, food, and sleep are necessities. fudge topping is a necessity.

  • that was so brillant. :)

  • Classic.

  • haha "get in touch with my feelings and all that crap"

  • we need the eggs

  • this one is up there with manhattan and hannah and her sisters!!! i'm a woody allen fan forever!

  • this is his definitive film

Annie Hall is a 1977 American romantic comedy film directed by Woody Allen from a script co-written with Marshall Brickman. One of Allen's most popular films, it won numerous awards at the time of its release, including four Academy Awards, and in 2002 Roger Ebert referred to it as "just about everyone's favorite Woody Allen movie

  • Allen had previously been known as a maker of zany comedies; the director has described Annie Hall as "a major turning point", as it brought a new level of seriousness to his work

  • i agree 100%!

  • it's not my kind of movie but it surely is quality movie...this man is smart.

  • Man, such an unegotistical film maker in many ways. Brilliant film

  • Wtf? They totally mispell Christopher Walken's name at 8:50 in the credits. XD I want to refer to him as Christopher "Wlaken" from now on.

  • Wow I never noticed that. That's a total fuck up in a Oscar winning movie! lol

  • That movie was pretty good. I give it a B. After seeing this movie, I realised that there is one good thing about relationships: at least you got to know the person you loved and that you'll always have the memories that was shared even if it didn't last long.
