GOD DAMMIT!!! not 5 minutes ago I finished learning how to build my own 7th chords, using just wikipedia.... it took me half an hour..... and NOW I stumble over this.... this just ain't my day....
actually, that lesson is muddy. When you show us the chords that are derived from those scales degrees, you should show us the fingering that you are using, otherwise you are just rushing over the topic, and thereby making it unclear as to what you are actually playing.

most people who gave a bad comment most likely sucks at the guitar and would like to give you crap to make them feel better....thank you bro for the chord theory.....you did a good job...
he wears that arm cover or stocking to stop the sweat on the arm making the guitar slippy and uncomfortable to play ,usually when sitting down playing guitar your arm sweats and your arm slips of the top of the guitar when playing ,,,its very fustrating when it happen's..
he didn't, he just played the chords after playing the arpeggios. It s recommended to do that when u practice arpeggios, so u cant connect the arpeggios and the sound of the chords in your mind.
He plays the C major scale where 1=C, 3=E, 5=G, 7=B using the W-W-H-W-W-W-H pattern for major scales
Play a C chord in first position (down by the nut) - You're playing the 1-3-5 pattern (all major chords use this pattern) - your 1st and 3rd fingers are on the root (1=C), your second finger is on the 3rd (E), your not fingering the 1st and 6th strings so they are also E, you're not fingering the 2nd string (G) so that's how you get the 5th
wow bro 1357 that helped me heaps thanks man

@deathofasellout Wrong, only noobs need to know the fingering, that limits your playing to just what other people tell you to play

why does he say we include the 1 the 3 the 5 and the 7 and then plays something different? I don´t understand someone please help :)
RedFenderStrat 2 years ago
he didn't play nothing different. First he plays the note of the chords (arpeggios), then he plays the chords using different forms
medjessy 2 years ago
and thats what i dont understand the thing with the different forms and how he forms a chord out of it :)

As medjessy describes, you can find this combination of notes - to build a major chord up and down the neck using different fingerings (forms)

Does having a playboy bunny symbol mean you enjoy tossing off to playboy magazines? Or does it mean you want to be a playboy bunny?
