I was a huge Ricky Rudd fan and I think NASCAR kinda died the day Dale Sr died.

Dale was the last of a pure breed of hero. I miss him he inspired us, my father and I loved him, now they're all gone. Dad called him the "last real driver". All our heros are gone and they've been replaced by by basketball/football and baseball steroid neanderthal freaks. Sunday is not the same anymore at least we have Dale Jr.

Dale was the best i went to see him race at talledega and it just blew my mind how agressive and skilled of a driver he was i mean i knew he was the Intimadator but once you see it in person its amazing. Thanks Dale for the all the joy you gave your fans.

I dont think Dales memory is served by all the threats and foul language. For starters he and Richard Petty were friends and Dale would have probably decked anyone who referred to Petty as "worm shit". But some people can only see the driver and not the man, pity. He was a decent man and deserves better.
