It's a projektor. Works on any surface and nearly all sizes :) This technology isn't very new though. I've seen gesture sensitive devices working similar 20 years ago.
i feel like cast shadows where i could see none of my drawing would be too much a nuisance for this device to be practical. I'd rather wait until Cintiq screens were cheap enough to make that Wacom would make one that big.
Plus, digital projections severely cripple the image by darkening it and desaturating it.
Well, I'm not interested in anything for graphic purposes...but I would like to take notes (personally and at University) digitally WITHOUT typing which is very restrictive for math work.
Can anyone recommend something for this around $50? The only real qualities I need is that:
-the input area is at least 3x4
-It can identify what I write to about 1 millimeter^2 precision I know bamboo and waco offer ones for 50-100, but really I'm a cheap bastard.
I looked online and they are about $2500 street price... for that big of a tablet it is worth it if your career involves making big money off of selling art and stuff...
P.S. It is really hard to get a GOOD $100 tablet (wacom varies between about $200+)
OMG! That is so cool! I would love a place like that. I draw so much I want to draw on the computer more, but I can't draw as well from the way you use a tablet. I could only imagine me drawing on the computer like that. *jealousy*
o que este homem faz e lindo e de ++ eu tenho vontade de trabalha com isso ai quem sabe um dia eu gosto de desenha e vou luta pra me forma em artista plastica e eu amo arte e sei que vou aprende muito com ela bjs
A graphics tablet (or digitizing tablet, graphics pad, drawing tablet[1]) is a computer input device that allows one to hand-draw images and graphics, similar to the way one draws images with a pencil and paper.
Oh my word, that's a sexy tablet - with, I imagine, a fairly hefty price tag to match. Must admit, though, I agree it doesn't look too comfortable to use as it is there. I think if I was using something like that I'd want it positioned at more of an angle, so I could reach the upper areas without having to bend over it.
i dont have drawing tablet but i want one. that's why i clicked to see this video but now i'm more intrested in that artist in the video, does he upload his work somwhere in the net? :3
It's too big. Waaaay too big. I'm a draftsman for a living, and let me tell ya, 36"x48" is right at the edge of being too damned big most days, and definitely too big on other days. I've used GTCO digitizers before (big, 36"x48" tablets) and they are TIRING to use. What I use nowadays is a 21" Wacom Cintiq. FAR superior.
thats awsome im planning on buying a normal size graphic tablet thats resembly cheap do make steches make comics etc what would be the a good brand 2 look 4?
im thinking about useing a projection on my wacom bamboo

krest4312 2 years ago 2
you have to fully redesigne a room for this and # a vertical touch sensitive rear-projection surface,
# a large horizontal tabletop projection setup,
# Anoto digital pens and paper,
# integration of multiple devices (laptop, tablet PCs, etc.),
# a wireless networking setup, and the
# combination and integration of different interaction metaphors would cost you about 10k-20k$ ..that's what I think...
