My uncle actually owns this album, and he shared the love that is Sam Sacks with me and my brother maybe back around 1995 or so. The story goes: he was in Korvette's, an old department store in Brooklyn, sometime in the mid-1960's, looking through the music section and he came across this LP. He took one look at the cover and thought, "This is either going to be the best album I've ever heard, or the worst album I've ever heard."
@SBArbeit That is so cool that you actually got hear the record and that your Uncle owns a copy! and yes it is horrible and great at the same time ha ha.
And in the studio, George Martin was heard to remark, "Congratulations,Sam. You just recorded your first number one."
