@Manongjojo Well I don't think so. Maybe for some of the things...but you have to remember the one thing he wanted. All he wished for was that everyone would remember it all started with a mouse. And I doubt anyone in the world doesn't recognize Mickey Mouse.
Part of it yes it's at the start of the program where Mickey welcome's you & ask if you wanna go inside his clubhouse & you have to say the magic words Messka Mousska but instead of mouseketeer it;s Mickey Mouse
When these original '50s Mickey Mouse Club shows were rerun in the '70s, this entire song came back into my consciousness when I saw it again. Up till then, I'd totally forgotten it. I'd been too young to understand what the kids were doing when they gestured and did the "Meeska, mooska" incantation, but as an adult I realized that they're causing the safe to open, where the old cartoons were symbolically stored. And the cartoons WERE old; they'd show late '20s and early '30s ones.
Around 5:45 every weekday afternoon, during the final quarter-hour of each day's "MICKEY MOUSE CLUB", different Mouseketeers would deliver this song, pick the name of the "Mousekartoon" out of the "vault", and announce, "The Mousekartoon for today is...", and the opening title would appear!
Thank you for posting. I was wondering where the words "Meeska, Mooska" came from, since they are being use for the Mickey Mouse clubhouse. Thank you so much!!!
@Lanny1966 I was wondering that, too, then I saw a MMC website talking about the different members of the show. Karen and Cubby were sometimes called Meeseketeers, since they were the youngest. Roy was called a Mooseketeer because he was a big man. Don't think they were so much called that on the show...more off show and informally. I guess the words "Meeska, Mooska" were added to the lyrics to include the informal names for the younger two, plus Roy, but don't quote me on that.

Can you post The Thompsons doing "Dance With The Dolly" and "Steel Guitar Rag" from
the original MMC's "Talent Roundup Day"? This must have been late 1958 or 59.
Those recordings are not available at all. Thanks.

There are hints of what it was to become right from the beginning.
Disney used the children for trauma-based programming.
