And not just as it relates to same-sex marriage, but as it relates to all ideologies, religious beliefs and philosophies that currently divide us and make us think that such differences are worth killing and dying for. There is no "us and them." There is only "us." And as Ben Franklin said, "If we don't hang together, we'll definitely hang separately."
