The DS is a great portable, no doubt. I have the white DS Lite (all other colors were sold out at the time, and they only had white and pink left LOL!).

The PSP is a good system too...it has its own library of games both downloadable and UMD, and you can also put PS1 games purchased on PSN Store on it via the PS3.

What you "just get an iPod" people are neglecting to mention is that the iPod screen sucks for videos and while the PSP may have relatively low storage space... I did buy it for the games, right? PSP ROCKS DS LIKE A CRAP WEAK GRAPHICS

compare 480x272 pixels(psp) to 256x192 pixels(DS). for picture viewing. etc. DS gives you a crayon as stylus, 4 action retro action buttons and nothing else
