I think you're just paranoid, it doesn't take a high IQ to figure out the moon is not grey and it doesn't take much to PROVE it's not, so why would anyone go out of their way to cover it?
Humm, the moon looks red or brownish when close to the horizon since Earth's atmosphere absorbs blue light preferentially. It only happens close to the horizon though because you need a lot of atmosphere to get that effect. All the pictures he showed of the moon where at the point where it's close to Earth's horizon.
Also, Mars can be seen from Earth as distinctly RED, not grey. Any conspiracy guys want to try and explain that?

However, even if the moon is not grey, we should first consider simple things: All rocks are not grey. And there is no atmosphere on the surface on the moon. There are basics things to remember
Can you see infrared light? No. Take the camera on your camera phone and point it to an infrared light. Can your camera see it? Yes. Our perspective in recorded video and photos (film or digital) has never been *exactly* the same as our naked eye. Just because you can't see a color, like infrared, doesn't mean it isn't there. Likewise, just because film picks up colors we can't see, doesn't make the photos fake.

It would of been too difficult or dangerous- but we had to fudge it to get support form the american ppl. Just incase you dont get what I mean.... it's because the light shining from the sun on the camera is making the stars not visable... ie. the light from the sun is of greater intensity than those of the stars.
@sn9696 not going to work. The moon has no night and day it has a light side (the sun only shines on one side) and a darkside because it does not rotate. If you want to think of it in terms of the earth, you cant see stars in the day time from earth., the same goes for the light side of the moon, its a permanent "day time" on the light side of the moon.

The moon DOES spin, but only at the speed in which it revolves around the earth. Think of a marry-go-round, and you and a partner are opposite sides facing one another -one of you is the moon, the other is the earth, and a tree on the outside edge is the sun. Both you and your partner will receive 'sunlight' from the tree at some point.
@derfmiester I was trying to keep it simple but my point is still that we see the same illuminted side of the sun and the astronauts landed on said side. The original and MAIN point which you did NOT comment on is that the camera would not be able to pick up the stars because the photographer was bathed in sun light. What you failed to mention is that the moon rotates at the same rate it takes for it to orbit the earth, thats why it always faces us. You have only confued everyone now lol

what on the moon could cause color? even if the atmosphere removes the color you can see that the moon has a tundra like surface covered in rock and sand and such elements have a very limited color pallet, also how do we explain red harvest moons? and in the video shown the earth's land colors were filtered but not the ocean blue wouldn't the same be true of the moon? (makes sense the only thing that could diffuse light in the atmosphere is water vapor)

There was a Youtube video that stated that the Apollo was much closer to Earth when they filmed it showing brown-blue. The window was covered to give it the appearance that they are far. This video here validates the claim. Thanks for sharing.
@hellavadeal: There is. The tidal lock isn't perfect, so the libration makes earth rise possible. But it's only visible if earth is visually very near to the horizon on the moon (the "edge" visible from earth). You can wath earth rise from about 20% of the lunar surface. Apart from that, earth rise is a very slow phenomenon, as the libration period is about 27 days.
This does not add up. How come I see blue, red, purple, yellow, green color flickering on stars farther away from as the distance earth-moon? If this effect makes the moon grey under regular instances, how come that I can clearly see colors on the stars? Why are they not grey then?

@Bokn1 I live in Norway out on the country, so its very clear nightsky here. But, of course the moon is so big compared to the rest of the 1pixel sized stars, so it may happen to the moon too, but its brightness lights it out somehow. I guess it has something to do with atmosphere stuff.

Overexposuring the photos and simple stacking of the pciture of the Moon - reveals all the colors that are there. It's the astronomy technique of revealing deep space nebulae. Same here. Faint light(color), but when you stack it, you get a full picture. Anybody can do this. Just go outside and take many pcitures.
@ParaglidingManiac: They actually use infrared cameras, and then apply exposure techniques to bring the gasses and dust into view. I'm not sure the exact same principle was used for enhancing the colors of the moons surface.
here are my problems with this and why i think anyone who believes this is a moron. the picture he uses at 3:03 to show how even on earth things in the distance appear grey is well stupid. thats fog it's grey thats why in the distance that photo is grey. and half of his "brown moon" pitcures the moon is more grey than brown. and most of this pictures that show brown continents on earth are either australia or africa which are both mostly brown. or have too much cloud cover to get a decent view.

@sn9696 not going to work. The moon has no night and day it has a light side (the sun only shines on one side) and a darkside because it does not rotate. If you want to think of it in terms of the earth, you cant see stars in the day time from earth., the same goes for the light side of the moon, its a permanent "day time" on the light side of the moon.

@LeeboProductions The moon is NOT always dark on one side & light on the other. What actually happens is our moon constantly faces us from only one of its sides. The moon DOES spin, but only at the speed in which it revolves around the earth. Think of a marry-go-round, and you and a partner are opposite sides facing one another -one of you is the moon, the other is the earth, and a tree on the outside edge is the sun. Both you and your partner will receive 'sunlight' from the tree at some point.

The original and MAIN point which you did NOT comment on is that the camera would not be able to pick up the stars because the photographer was bathed in sun light. What you failed to mention is that the moon rotates at the same rate it takes for it to orbit the earth, thats why it always faces us. You have only confued everyone now lol

what on the moon could cause color? even if the atmosphere removes the color you can see that the moon has a tundra like surface covered in rock and sand and such elements have a very limited color pallet, also how do we explain red harvest moons? and in the video shown the earth's land colors were filtered but not the ocean blue wouldn't the same be true of the moon? (makes sense the only thing that could diffuse light in the atmosphere is water vapor)

If the mechanism would wouk as you describe we could barely see a blood red moon everytime it enters earth's penumbra.
You can see any color of an object in outer space despite Rayleigh scattering. Otherwise earth based astronomy wouldn't be possible at all.
As far as I know earth base astronomy does exist quite a long time now, so I dare say you're mistaken.

@hellavadeal: There is. The tidal lock isn't perfect, so the libration makes earth rise possible. But it's only visible if earth is visually very near to the horizon on the moon (the "edge" visible from earth). You can wath earth rise from about 20% of the lunar surface. Apart from that, earth rise is a very slow phenomenon, as the libration period is about 27 days.

Overexposuring the photos and simple stacking of the pciture of the Moon - reveals all the colors that are there. It's the astronomy technique of revealing deep space nebulae. Same here. Faint light(color), but when you stack it, you get a full picture. Anybody can do this. Just go outside and take many pcitures.

Mr. Jose Escamila... I don't seem to understand something. Ok, so, we've been lied to regarding this, but other than this, what else did you mean by this? That there is extraterrestrial life on the Moon? All life on Earth requires carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and phosphorus as well as numerous other elements in smaller amounts; it also requires water as the solvent in which biochemical reactions take place. Does the Moon have all that?
