  • I could understand all the Arabic spoken here. Your language practice became my language practice...I hope you do more like this.

  • Congratulation to Moses. He's a fantastic person and he deserves to be happy

  • @laoshu505000 I can only imagine how many groups of people you could encounter in a hospital. I live pretty close to New York City every time I go now I try my best to hear the languages around me not easy since everyone is always on the go when I get maybe 4-5 languages under my belt I,ll have to go one day and spend maybe the whole day leveling up I remember I heard Japanese at times square once but at the time I was not studying Japanese seriously like i,am now though.

  • You are truly an inspiration... this is the sort of dedication you need to master anything!

  • i can imagine it now, kids get older and bring their friends over, laoshu says to the friends 'so, where you guys from?' and then levels up with the kids haha good stuff

  • Moses, congratulations. I'm very happy for you and the Mrs. Hope the babies are healthy and happy. Get plenty of rest. You'll definitely need it.

  • 'They're out and well now though'. Congratulations to you and your wife, Moses, a whole new adventure is about to begin (good luck with the broken sleep...). Best wishes

  • Glad to hear the kids are doing well- congratulations to you and your family. When they get older, they'll get a kick out of seeing their dad was even trying to practice languages in the hospital- now that's dedication, lol.

  • i have more curious how you speak many tongues,

the secret is you live and breath with it ^^___________^^ .

and, learn to grap every chances that coming in the life.

you should set up time to visite this hospital regulary, maybe 3 days isn't enough.

Hope things going well with your wife and the twins :)

  • Moses McCormick, you will ALWAYS find the time for language learning. If you're at university, at home, driving in your car, our at the hospital with your wife, you will never cease to amaze us. I'm glad I found such an interesting and motivated language learner. You really are the best. Wishing you all the best, with your new family, and may you never stop growing!

  • @37rrga Thanks a lot.

  • Excellent. You didn't even need the elevator.

Congratulations to you and your family!

  • @Lovetteboy Thanks my friend.

  • Just wanted to say I enjoy your videos. You are a great inspiration. Thank you for you sharing.

  • @Bubishi751 Thank you for watching.

  • yah man you didn't know there would be no time for leveling up haha.. this video is very funny bro! you're in a whole new world. you'll be leveling up but not the way you thought. congrats yet again. peace

  • @ichimaru378 hahah! Cone on man, you already know how we do it out here! haha. No opportunities missed.

  • Big question here: The babies, where are they?

  • @Iceland1944 When I made this video, they were still in mommy's tummy. They're out and well now though.

  • @laoshu505000 Thumbs up!

  • I gotta say man, you're a flat out stud when it comes to language learning. Get them exps! And congrats with the fam!

  • @stonefree1375 Thanks a lot.

  • May I ask a dumb question, what does "leveling up" mean? It sounds like you are doing a great job with your Arabic!

  • @susi1662 There are no dumb questions. Let me ask you first. Have you ever played any RPG games such as Final Fantasy, Chrono Cross/Chrono Trigger, Xenogears etc?

  • @laoshu505000

No, I haven't played any RPGs. I am figuring that it means moving up a level, am I right?

  • @susi1662 Yes. The more experience points you gain, the stronger you get basically. I love this concept very much.

  • I'm excited for you! I hope everything goes well for you and your wife! Mabrook! I would suggest a couple of books that I have been using that would help you with your Arabic, even though I know you already have a ton of resources on languages! Do you have Mastering Arabic 1 and 2 by Jane Wightwick? These books are actually pretty good. She has quite a few Arabic resources--mainly a lot of beginner stuff but she knows her stuff. She makes Arabic learning simple to understand!

  • @ilovetheniqab Thanks a lot. I haven't heard of such book, but I'll definitely check it out.

  • I like these leveling up vids

  • quaestion: are people usually willing to speak with you most the time or are there people who dont want to talk to you?

  • @WalkerLME 99% of the time, people are willing to talk.

  • im feelin this, Mr lao,,, im seriously gonna have to take dat level up term im feeling dat waay too much lol much love and respect.... and do you speak Twi ?

  • @DBerrGT I speak a bit of Twi.

  • I hope for all the best.

  • @difencrosby Thanks

  • Wow

Glad to hear you speaking in my mother language

    Keep leveling up

    Wish you good luck

  • @mrhesham119 Thanks

  • That's my BOY!! lol Leveling up at all times anywhere he can!!! See, that's what happens when you speak 100 languages laoshu, Some languages get put on the back burner then you gotta go back to through your old library of knowledge, search for the volume number and then when you find the volume, you have to open up the book to recall what it was about. That's what you are man, a library of language knowledge. LOL I'll be starting Arabic for the first time next year . Wish me luck.

  • @RECON4NOW LOL@volume number

  • Moses Moses Moses hahaha You're a great individual

  • Great video mate, hope all goes well =]!

  • @acey555666 Xie xie!

  • @gardenstateboss Thank you my friend

  • Leveling up right after your wife gives birth, true dedication!

  • @samuraialfredo This was actually before hehe.

  • "I just leveled up in the elevator!" That's a great metaphor and even better if it's really true :p

  • @namitsu1 ahah I literally leveled up on the elevator twice. The hospital is crazy! They have so many different foreigners here.

  • hey man you got an awesome channel but please learn some respect. I'm half arab and latino and you gotta understand cultures a lot of people refuse to be recorded because it scares their image and are afraid their face will be all over the net, especially females so please ask before you record them but other than that great video. Peace be with you.

  • @joshuacorona1 People get filmed all the time. I am sure that lady is on tens and tens of tourist's videos and photo's just walking around outside. There is no escaping from that these days. Not to mention security cameras. That being said, it's still a good thing to ask, but just wanted to point that out.

  • @namitsu1 true but as a passer by there is no harm and sometimes you don't see them clearly on camera but i understand what you mean. Thanks

  • Never miss out on a chance man! :)

  • @Imyirtshashem No way

  • oh, how neat

  • Nice

  • Dude if you wanna also practice French; that Moroccan lady can help you with that also :P

  • @3aJeeB17 You're right. I wasn't thinking about it at the time.

  • @laoshu505000 Well your staying their for 3 days; you'll have plenty of time to practice with her Arabic and French; btw what language will you practice with that lady from Chad?

  • @3aJeeB17 Lady from Chad?

  • @laoshu505000 Oh sorry I meant Ghana; I saw the video yesterday lol.

  • That is good Arabic!! Hope all goes well with your wife

  • @rraassll شكراَ جزيلاَ حبيبي

  • Wow, leveling up in the Hospital too lol that is so like you lol. Congrats concerning your children can't wait till you make videos on them in the future as they grow up.

  • @DarkOchestra2008 The hospital is one of the best places to practice language. Many different ethnic backgrounds here.
