  • i have an old motorola talk about "t500" to be exact, im wondering if i get an external ptt button if it can work with that talkie talkie. does the walkie talkie need a specific funtion to use the ptt?

  • Great review! Just wondering which comm's you'd recommend for cqb of the three types you reviewed? Thanks!

  • A Heich-Dee camera, eh? ;)

  • just bought the motorola xtr466, what throat mic do you use. looking for something similar

  • WHAT PTT DO YOU USE???

  • i have 2 questions for the second headset. 1. If I have the headest and a motorola, and my friend only has the motorola, can we still communicate? 2. Is it adjustable?

  • @OddysAirsoft How much do all the headsets and the walkie-talkie cost?

  • when the headset mic cancled out do u have to turn the whole headset off or after awhile it will turn bad on

  • Nice video dude

  • how much are we looking at?

  • so if i use an xbox headset with my walky talky (i know, im poor, shut the hell up) will it work? and how will i talk without pressing the button everytime i talk cuz the talky will be in my radio pouch which is too deep to easily take the radio out of

  • Just realised I have the same throat mic setup as Oddy. Good to hear you also like it

  • about the Comtac II's will they work with a MICH2000 style helmet?

Also does motorola have a compatibility with Midland?

  • @snipingownsu Comtac II's are made ESPECIALLY to work with a MICH 2000

  • I have a BT Freeway walkie talki. Which Cavalvy plug works with this?

  • And Im thinking of the Motorola Talkabout. Does anybody have any Experiance with this walkie?

  • Lol, I got a Rather Nice Headset from my school because my Computer teacher was going to trash them because they didn't have the rubber Pads. I had a Crappy pair, took the pads off those, Crazyglued the pads onto my Califone's, and wala. All I need now is a PTT and a Decent WAlkie.

  • thankyouuuuuuuuuu ive been looking at the last one you had and i didnt know if it connected to a walkie talkie its self or if it needed a ptt. thankyou so much

  • FUCK FUCK PUSSY ASS WHOLE FUCK IN MY EAR...please forgive i just wanted to get your attention...ok would a Motorola MR350R work as well because i look on amazon and didn't find it and i rather get this one plzzz reply...thank you

  • hi after watching this review i bought these radios used them in a cqb and there work great they come with a headset and boom mike great for somthing that you get with it thanks oddy

  • I agree one hundred percent. Why buy something thats 50 dollars which your gunna end up buying more than once, while you can just buy a 100-to whatever radio which will last much longer.

  • Where did you get the throat mic??

  • hey im looking into headsets but how do you know if a headset needs an adaptor or not cause i sure as hell dont know how to tell

  • I have the one headset you reviewed last and experience a loud sound when a broadcast is aired on the radio. When ever someone presses their button to talk it makes a loud clicking sound and it hurts my ear. I have even tried turning the volume down very low but I still get that click that is just the right pitch to hurt my ear. I was wondering if this was normal or if you knew how to fix it.

  • Hi again, it seems that there is more than one version of this radio as I've seen/read some in 5km range, 8km or 9. And also in two pin?

  • Hey mate, cracking video as always, nice to see some impartial reviews. When you chaps rocking across to Scotland so we can have a good ol skirmish or two. I've been looking at getting a throat mic and yours looked pretty good, what make is it?

  • Is the headset plug on that radio the twin one like all the other Motorla ones?

  • @Mr912Lancer Nope Single pin

  • @OddysAirsoft Ah right ok, so would that be the same as the talkabout models then?

  • @Mr912Lancer Yep indeed

  • @OddysAirsoft Ok thanks :)

  • Which videos have you recorded with the Z tactical comtac 2 with HD camera ?

  • Great vids, keep them coming, I've been eyeing the Comtac's for awhile and this really helped get some real player feedback from a playing adult. My only questions woudl be the differences between the Comtac's and the Sordin replicas??

  • As a main radio I use the Weierwei V1000 which is similar to the Puxing 888, and highly recommend it in case rules and regulations lets you use these PMRs. They have an amazing range, build quality, and battery life. Their tx power is 10x of a normal PMR, so check it is OK to use them in you country...

  • Just subscribed. Very informative videos. Keep up the good work.

  • Hey you remind me of Ray Stevenson from Punisher War Zone^^

  • wooh im interested with that Z tac headset though im looking at a similar one Oddy, its the sordin one :)

  • @giansantiago Comtac II Absolutely brilliant piece of kit - I like the look of it with the load out too

  • @OddysAirsoft Hey nice video,I have a Cactus hobby Army of two head set.Do you know a mic that would fit my ear with my mask on.

  • Really appreciate this video Oddy. I did a bit of marshalling the other day and was asked if I had a radio etc. I did not and now I am giving this area some serious thought.

  • Comms with your tema-mates? Wouldn't you still need to be a part of a team.

  • @SpankyMcBeanbag You don't need to be part of a team to use Comms. I use them with my mates or if other guys in the team I am selected to play for have Comms we can link up and play more effectively. Another a-hole comment!

  • @ oddyairsoft ur vids are gettin a bit boring man, but i will stay subscribed and keep viewin ur vids..... Just a heads up

  • @darraghc123 Hit the unsubscribe button any time you feel sir!

  • just wondering where do you get your guns from, do ehobby asia deliver to Ireland?

  • @619eoghan

Yes, ehobby and other resellers deliver to Ireland, why wouldn't they? However, in our opinion buying from Irish retailers saves a lot of hassle, gives you a warranty and helps keep airsoft growing, even if it costs a little more to buy your AEG/GBB/Pistol. Eirsoft offer guns from eHobby as Partner Products, GoTactical & QAS both have relationships with RedWolf, check to see if your local retailer can order what you want for you.

  • icom radios are a thousand times better than a motorola.

  • @1234567zad Thats good to know- I just wanted something that I could get hold of readily and had a good track record and Motorolla ticked all those boxes! Good to know about other brands though ;)

  • Great review! You're a Pro m8

  • this comment has been removed by chuck norris

  • Hey Oddy what make is the throat mike and where you happen to pick it up.

    Cheers

  • With all 3 of these mics, you look like a german tank commander :D

  • where did you get the motorola and how much did they cost, thanks

  • @XxmadmanxX12354

Cheapest place we've seen them is Pixmania, around €83 for a pair which is great value for a good radio

  • Nice Vid and it would be cool if you guys could check out my channel and give me any tips you might have, Thanks.

  • how much is that 2nd headset (the one with the 2 mics for picking up outside noises) and wear could i buy one? I want a better headset than my midland one.

  • @berger0424

Z Tactical COMTAC II Noise Reduction Headset is $56 on ehobby

  • I have considered reviewing a comm system. maybe in the future
