@arbber11 THX!!!!! Many have asked me about that guitar. It's very reasonable, in view of that I'd say: finish, setup and dynamic is good, hardware is okay. Pickups not very powerful, very neutral - but clear(no mud). For metal you would have to push sound & overdrive by your amp a lot. Tremolo I can't say as I don't use it, I always fix them. I bought it for my stays in the US as I don't carry my real babies on a normal flight. Can't give you a metal sound sample as I'm not in the US right now.
@gruponitro THX!! Hi Joshua, that depends on your needs - for what you wanna use it? Based on the price it's pretty cool. I only bought it for my travels to the US. I take the neck off and it goes into my checked baggage. With most airlines it's a hassle to travel with instruments and I don't wanna risk to destroy my Hohner or Jackson if they deny to take it into the cabin. AAA I can't make a statement as most use their own classifications and I'm really lost on that. Available as B-stock too.
@gruponitro Short review: Finish, setup, dynamic, playability good(neck should be 1-2mm thinner for my taste). Hardware pleasable(Tremolo I can't say, I always fix them with a metal plate, but when I got it I tested it and it went out of tune if you use it wild). Pickups sufficient (not very powerful, bridge and neck sound nearly the same). Big minus: Hard edge (not rounded) where you rests your right arm on the body. I'm happy with it for travels, but I wouldn't use it for studio work.
This is awesome my friend! Would you say that the boss me-25 has a good quality recording? I am really thinking of buying it for that to do covers and stuff :) Thanks for any help.
@the1tobzster I'm just happy with it. The recording quality directly to computer via USB is great and works fine for my taste(24-bit/44.1 kHz). Preset sounds are awesome (classic, modern, clean + good amp models). Usability is just great what I love as I like to play and not to study. Many free sound-libraries out there from famous players. Till now I only used the presets. It fits perfect in bagagge for traveling and in good boss-tradition metal chassis!!! That's why I bought it. take care!
@danfretland Thanks!!! Yeah absolutely, I hear ya, that could work with a cartoon with the idea of "restless spirit". I'm thinking about a thing like Tom & Jerry and Tom finally wants to be a conductor as he found his real meaning of life and being sleepness for weeks thinking about it ........ how it would work out for him in the end we all know(mashed in a piano etc.) - lol. Thanks so much for listening and your kind feedback, take care !!!
@johnnymusic Thanks Bro, yeah I'm getting back to my old performance level from 1995 when I stopped playing. That song I put together out of scales that I wrote in the past for practising. When I started again with my music in 2007 I couldn't play any of it and I thought I don't need it (fast playing), now with those cool competitions that I love because of the people it's coming back and it's big fun and cool for my music too to expand the dynamic level in my playing. Take care Bro, love ya!
Hi, Nobby! A real workout for both hands! I sure couldn`t have played that piece if my life depended on it! Best of luck in the competition, Nobby! See you!
@MrRuneberre Thanks so much man!!!!!! A compliment like that from a damn great guitarist like you is really very special !!! That's now Nobby Style 2011 (no tapping every note is played, my style), I'm nearly back to my old skills now thru the competitions, it's great fun and that's why I do it - I love the people and their spirits here, it gives me a very good vibe(hope), I don't expect anything and not looking for winning, just trying to find back to the real me, being me, lol, take care, xo!
