It's interesting how you can't really draw a connection between the "game" and the "cultural education" either.

The Towers of San Gemignano were no concentration camp for virtual subhumans. Leonardo did not fiddle around with sadistic murder weapons.

The "game" at the core of this is hardly more developed than a more "visceral" version of 1981 Castle Wolfenstein 2D - some scenes play out eerily similar.

The game IS murdering your male opponents.

I don't know YT's exact policy, but you could look it up. Where did you see my inability to connect? Don't make broad, condescending remarks without support for them. I understand your idea. And of course the history is not perfectly accurate, it's a work of fiction, and Leonardo actually invented many weapons. Wolfenstein is irrelevant to all I said. The parallel to Wolfenstein 2D is actually pretty striking, it features a violence-oriented cartoonish account of "culture" as well... fascist Germany instead of Renaissance Italy.

Imho showing DaVinci as a friend of a mass murderer is as obnoxious as showing Einstein was a fan of the atomic bomb.

You separated the "game" from its "setting" youself.

How do you justify that, going into all this mind boggling artistic effort to get people interested in buying a game that's all about killing?

I still fail to see the point in the parallel. I agree, but what does that prove in this conversation? Einstein was a significant part of creating the atomic bomb, just as Leonardo only made weapons. If you don't agree, don't play.

It's a product, made better and unique by the company in an effort to sell it. Is it about killing? Yes. So are many others. Why does this one need specific justification? This has gone quite far away from what I had initially tried to clarify for you, but very well.

Just because you pre-ordered doesn't mean you get the game early, unless they're doing a Midnight Launch where you are and you go.
