these actually arent as crap as alot of people think,

i owned similar ones ( citronic pdcd ) and they were great to learn on.

the effects are handy and the fact they have hotcues is sick.

id tell a beginner to buy these, but they arent good for mobile djing because of their size.

since then ive moved to some cdj900s.

dont miss the turntables one bit ! haha

a company called citronic make hybrid turntables like these, they are good quality, as a matter of fact, they are almost identical, i think the citronic ones are slightly better.

hi everyone, how much does this turntable cost? in sweden, theres something thats almost the same for about 300 euro, its called US Blaster USB 7329 i think, anyone tryed this? its also a hybrid turntable with pretty much everything the gemini has but for a cheaper penny i think.

read somewhere(probably skratchworx) that its a oem turntable. so the citronic, gemini and usblaster are made in the same place. just with different outer designs.

i have two us blaster usb 7329. i am very satisfied with this turn tables.

I would not to shift again to other turntables.

fun fun fun and 100 % vinyl feeling on cd.

for PC DJs, you have all players for Traktor Scratch with timecode cd or vinyl.

i mixed numark virtual vinyl with the TTs.absolutely continuous function, no problems. my voting. 1A +

highly recommended mobiel DJs.

So when you switch from CD control mode with the "timecode" LP, to real vinyl - the CD's pitch remains equal, even when you pitch the vinyl?

So: CD song running at 1.9% plus. you want to play in an LP as you just did in this video, so you switch to vinyl mode. you start pitching the LP and you end up at 0.5% minus. the CD playing will have remained at 1.9% plus?

if your play the viynl then ya you can if your playing the CD you need the viynl it comes with and if your playing bothi I think it only scratches the viynl but might change the speend of the CD a lil

hey! i bought my cdt´s...and i dont have a locking vinyl...i have a small locking disc, that i have to really lock in there ( i mean unscrew and screw again) and then i have this rubber round thing with a whole in the middle, with which i guess im supposed to attache to the small round thing on the middle. is this normal?!?!

take the slipmat(thinner the better i find) and put it on the platter, then the control vynil they give you

and then screw the spindle over it with teh small plastic thingg locked into the holes and your good

hmm...but my cdt didnt come with any piece of vynil..it has the slipmat and a kind of rubber round thing with a hole in the middle (and this hole is the same size as the plastic locking thing) so u mean, there should be a really piece of vinyl in the package?if yes, has it any special things or could i use any piece of vinyl?

CDJ800MK2 and CDT-05 = Buy CDT-05!!!!!!!!

- It is just better gear and cheaper..

..plus scratch sound is really really good,

you can't beat a CDJ800/1000 combined with Technicsa setup. You know you're then getting the best CDJ out there and the best turntable ever made. Might be pricey but you get what you pay for.

Im still a bit unsure about this one mainly due to the locking spindle idea. what if you lose/break your gemini scratch vinyl? I dont know, the concept of it seems a bit too flash and overly complexed. great vids as always mate!

How can you justify comparing a hybrid turntable to an ordinary cdj or turntable? Its like comparing a ferrari to a mountain bike, there completely different. The only comparison you could make for a hybrid turntable is to compare it will another hybrid turntable like the numark x2 hybrid turntable.

Scratch Live is far superior as you can do all that plus sample from a mic and scratch it straight away, not bad for a bedroom setup though.
