good job. you sang and played it well. only suggestion i can offer is to slow down a little and don't be afraid of letting the high notes go. overall, great job.
Yeah, keep it up! I used to be shy about singing for others. Then a voice coach told me just one thing: The only thing a singer needs to be successful is to hit the notes. It doesn't matter if ya sing smoothly Barbra Streisand or gritty like Axl Rose. Hit the notes and the rest will work itself out. So now I play guitar and listen closely to my voice, and I look anyone in the eye who doesn't like it.
You get an A for effort and for having the nad to play "in front of others" (well, virtually anyway) but you got the chords wrong. There's plenty of videos including those from the man himself to guide you. Not a bad job singing though. Keep it up, bro! Regards....
Great job! You pretty much nailed all the chords I used (with just a couple minor differences, but yours sounds fine)! Here are the chords I use for "Try"
Capo on 2nd fret:
Intro: D, E, G (2x)
Verses: A, Em, G, D, E, G, D, A, Em, G, D, E, G, Bm, G, Bm, G
Chorus: Bm, G, A (Stop for chorus 1 and go to intro), D, G, A, Bm, G, A (intro)
Nice job!

Not a bad cover, but I was looking for the original video. Has anyone told you you look like a young Leif Garrett?
