As cool as it is that you pissed "I-blow" off, and made that poor postal worker feel a bit better, it pales in comparison to how important this channel and other like it are in spreading the word. About the MRM and liberty. Thank you Bernard!.
I feel just the opposite, I am very optomistic. The rise of libertarinism is amazing the last few years. Compared to when I was young or even compared to ten or fifteen years ago.I see the movement gaining momentum every day. We have two (count um) two libertarian shows on fox. That was unimaginable a few years ago.
@pinegrove33 You know common sense does not take much effort...most people know you don't have to Palm a coil on a stove...to know your going to get burned...
But some lack that spark of reality...to just friggen know better.
Haha...."Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Germans??? Forget it, he's on a roll...." Love it Bern! Love the positive message, keep them Infernos coming sir!
@coredump100 - That makes sense except that I don't see many examples of that. Normally when government policies fail the people's response is to demand even more policies to fix the failed ones. FDR was an economic cancer and he continued to get reelected because he told the people what they wanted to hear while he did everything he could to hurt them with his policies of centralizing power.
Another great example is Detroit. At what point will the people of Detroit (or just about any major city) come to the realization that punishing and regulating the people are killing their cities? Productive people have fled the cities for the suburbs, and now are leaving entire states for friendlier places. Hell, our factories were forced overseas due to our oppressive regulations. How bad must it get before the dumbmasses "get it"?
0:21 - HAHA! I hear ya! Depressing. Quite frankly I do think that, logically speaking, it's a downhill spiral from here on out (as far as America, culturally) - BUT I think that, win or lose the war, there are a TON of battles out there to be won! And they ARE indeed being won. Onward and upward. :)
PS: *applause* EPIC WIN on the appreciative email from the girlfriend of the ex-husband!! :D
@christy0misty Yeah, it's a challenge not to be pessimistic but really PC is nothing more than abolishing and making common sense socially forbidden. That strategy cannot work with the bizarre circumstances we find ourselves in today. To quote Al Davis, "Let's win baby win!"
I agree. All of this blogging, vlogging, and spreading our message is having a big difference. Just a year ago there was hardly an acknowledgement of us.
Now we have grown so much that manginas and feminists are trying to run hit pieces in the mainstream media where they call on so-called "experts" who are in fact feminist "academics" and ideologues to talk about us. Instead of, oh, I don't know, actually asking us for information. No conflict of interest there, is there?
It's easy to get discouraged, because we're watching our leaders do little to nothing while the country is collapsing and our freedoms and sovereignty are eroding, and it's like they don't care. What we're battling is a culture of entitlement that instills in people a belief they're owed something just for being alive. That is a tough foe to fight, but we have Truth on our side here, and Truth is the most powerful weapon there is.
At the end. What would you prefer. Fighting for what you believe in. Or hiding and complaining on how things are (while knowing in the inside that you where to much of a coward to fight).
I have lived some decades. And I can tell you that the worse regrets a person can have is not what a person has done, but what a person was too afraid to do and didn't do. "The what if will hunt you forever." Thus think, plan and act accordingly to your conciseness and don't look back.
I'm inherently pessimistic because I don't believe victory is around the corner or will be easy. It will take a generation and lots of effort. Victory is possible, but there will be sacrifices along the way.
+++ BERN+++ if your reading this, You make the world seem a little less dark for me. So I have been letting my friends know about you and mentioning you on some web sites . Its the least I can do Man I owe you.
If one does not have courage for one' convictions then one really didn't have those convictions in the first place.
I just got finished dealing with one of those false friends, MIchael Voris on RealCatholicTV. What a coward that narcissistic hypocrite is! Plus bad for the Church.
@pinegrove33 I understand. I will be sure to watch that iconic film to see what made it so funny. I haven't watched much of Belushi's stand up acts as of yet. Cheers!
I hate to be negative since it accomplishes nothing and we still have to do down swinging, but I can't shake the opinion that the US really is toast. It's one thing for a society work together to confront a external foe (NAZIs, terrorists, alien robots, etc), but it's an entirely different thing when the enemy is us. America's own people want the system to collapse. We're being dismantled from within like an aggressive cancer and I just don't see how that can be cured.
@nojunkorspam I don't think most Americans want the place to collapse. These are the same ones who thought Obama was a "moderate." He isn't and they were deceived although honestly most of them never took a real interest.
@pinegrove33 - No one says they choose to be obese, but obesity is the inevitable result of activites the obese choose to engage in. That's why I view obesity as a choice. Likewise, outside of San Francisco and academia, few Americans say they want America to collapse, but they eagerly support all of the dumb policies where the inevitable result is the destruction of America. Just like with obesity, this forces me to say that most Americans want the destruction of America.
@nojunkorspam I'm with you. The Roman Empire also was "dismantled from within," & history repeats because too many people refuse to learn from it. Too many people are too easily brainwashed to maintain the eternal vigilance Thomas Jefferson said was the price of liberty. Too many people want something for nothing; e.g., they want gov't services but refuse to pay taxes. And to quote Al Bartlett, "It's one minute before 12" in the proverbial bottle of bacteria. Like you, I see no cure.
@CCRoxtar - I hate this, but when I look at the situation objectively there's no way for me to see that the nation can survive; let alone thrive. This reminds me of my investing days when a corp. had a great name and a long history but terrible fundamentals (GM and Washington Mutual). The USA is the exact same thing. Logically I know severe economic problems must be ahead, but what can you do? I continue the good fight and HOPE it can be stopped even though my heart's not in it.
Is not the first time that the enemy is withing us (remember the civil war?).
I like how Germany, lost 2 world wars. Was a synonym of evil for a time. Was divided by the USSR. And yet, today is one of the best economies in Europe. How they did it? Hard work and going the distance.
Thereof, if We, The People are willing to go the distance and do the work. The USA will stand. Even if we fall, we will rise again and again. We can only fail if we quit.
@xanatose - Even during the Civil War I believe the people of each side largely supported their side, and the people of Germany and the former USSR likely supported their nation. Americans today do not. If 85%-90% of the public condemned socialism then I could see the nation restored but the problem with the USA *IS* its people. 42% still support Obama because THEY AREN'T willing to do the work! They want the handouts and the productivity-killing regulations. How can that be defeated?
I feel better already! Happy Easter everyone and thanks for the positive reinforcement Bern. It can esay to lose our way in the face of so much evil but I also believe justice will prevail in the end. Keep fighting the good fight. Good day and God bless.
