another thing, we may say that we're just "removing terrorists" and the taliban are a real bunch of scumbags but this isn't our fight.

the wars in iraq and afganistan aren't particualy supported by the majority of the british people but economic instability leads to conservative views on foreign policy.

i hope the british people have the confidence to vote for a party that doesn't support the war on terror but i doubt it, i know i don't.

We should scrap Trident, it costs 4 times the amount of money spent on soldiers equipment and i highly doubt we will ever need to make a nuclear strike against anyone and the MoD shouldn't waste so much money getting ripped-off by contracters.

also it should be called the ministry of attack rather then defence, who are we defending against? we ain't defended against anyone in years.

@DeBuff3D The war ended just recently actually. It's weird, but technically, Germany didn't pay(money) for their wrongness in ww2, and they finally payed, so we were still technically in WW2.

Afghanistan is an illegal aggressive war against a sovereign nation that did not attack us first.

usa & UK are engaged in war crimes if the Nuremberg law WAS applied as they did for the Nazis in WW2 Bush & Blair & all involved would be hung by their necks until they were dead.

Why did they attack Afghan Gov Osama Bin Laden, 911, Osama is Saudi, supposed founder of the terrorist organization al-Qaeda. So why did USA & the UK attack the Taliban when they were not attacked first?

Didnt the UK gov say that we were asked 2 help by the Afghan government, as far as i can remember the taliban government was overthrown & the puppet Afghan Gov installed, but not until the Trans Afghan Pipeline deal was signed.

peace is the only solution to the conflict, set aside the pride and create a peaceful talks to the afghan rebels to avoid more bloodshed......
