I got an Everdrive Genesis rom cartridge recently. Can anyone in the know how let me know how many 32X unreleased roms are available out there?? Currently, I have the XMEN game, the Virtua Hamster, and the Soulstar demos. Are there any others?? If you know, please drop me a line. THANKS!!
@MsBryanfreeman First of, there are a lot of good Castlevania games. Second, don't you ever dare to say anything bad about the SNES - it was Nintendos golden age, and so it was for the whole game industry. And third: the Genesis was cool I admit that, but the Sega CD was shit and the 32X was an even bigger shit.
Yet you didn't see Nintendo taking any major risks or doing any major improvements to the industry back then did you? Apart from fucking up the Play Station deal three times over. Thus creating the enemy which helps the death of SEGA's hardware and sole a major chunk of Nintendo's market share.
@XKaiminalX Nintendo didnt take any risks? Remember the Virtual Boy? A huge risk and huge failure.
Nintendo did to bring improvements. They brought the shoulder buttons that are still used to this day. Could you imagine gaming without them? Dont blame Nintendo on the death of Sega blame Sega on the death of Sega. They where the ones that stopped supporting their consoles and screwed over te customers NOT Nintendo.
The death of SEGAs hardware was due to a number of things, i never said it was Nintendo's fault, but it was Nintendo's fault for helping Sony come into the gaming hardware business, which screw over both SEGA and Nintendo. And yes i can imagine gaming without shoulder buttons, because they are rather over rated.
Note - The Virtual boy wasn't a risk, the reason that failed was due to Nintendo wanted to focus on the N64, thus not finishing the Virtual Boy. It wasn't a risk.
@XKaiminalX Shoulder buttons over rated? Unless you play nothing but fighters they are the most needed button besides the direction stick/pad. You now have 4 fingers working together instead of 2 thumbs.
The reason the virtual boy failed cause it had a hefty price tag and was an eyesore to play. It was just as much a risk as the sega cd/32x.
the game reminds me of castlevania 3 however if this game was released it would,ve been a great game i guess so.
,m mean despites the 32x flaws and poor release it,s finely all about the games and if the 32x and sega cd dit had manny great games and ports instead of mostly improved versions wich are allready availeble on the genesis, sure it could had been a succus.
but i guess no one dit ever want to create games for it except sega and a few others.
Opus 13 music was supposed to be the theme for this game? interesting- or maybe they just stuck that in there for kicks. I'm sure it would have been an ok game- like or unlike dracula x for snes
That's hilarious. And extremely familiar, I might add! Looks a little something like...I dunno... The Castlevania Chronicles: Castlevania III remake some folks were making some time back?! Actually, this looks like it uses the same engine, but looks seriously inferior.
Reminds me Castlevania IV a little. If this game was realy meant to be released for Sega 32X, it's a shame it was cancelled. It might have been one o the very few decent games for that wannabe-console. Anyway, at least we Genesis/MegaDrive users could get Castlevania: Bloodlines, one of the best games in the saga, IMO.
I think he was regarding to "The Bloodletting", which was the project destined for the Sega 32X system. It eventually was scrapped(IGA, CV's now infamous producer was among the team members) and some of the ideas were carried over and used in Symphony of the Night. So, this if fake? Looks good from being a fan-made game. Love the backgrounds. Definately VERY CV-esque!
Where I download Rom?
