  • @missrocknrockstaaa It cooled Red bean paste or Azuki bean paste.You can check it on Wikipedia. Well...Because this is sweet, I do not like it so much.

I do not understand a single word unfortunately... yet, but I am glad that the kids are included to keep the tradition going... however that machine... how recent have they been out and used in Japan?

I just bought two fresh ones from a mochi store and I wish I can make it here in San Francisco. I lived in Osaka with Tachibana-san in Abeno-ku for the summer. t..t please and thank you

  • hey it is very similar to rice cake making at my hometoo except we make the chinese version using crushed peanuts, sesame and sugar as the main ingredient inside the mochi..... glutinous rice flour instead of the actual rice because we have no machine to mix it lol...but good video...

  • In former times in Japan,making rice cakes done in each community. Today it has declined because of growing numbers of nuclear families. For education of children, it can be performed in school and kindergarten.
