I had a spider monkey back in the 70's. It's so sad that they are endangered. Back when I got my monkey, they were so plentiful that you could go into an exotic pet store and purchase one for $200.00!!! Now, not that I would ever recommend owning one as a pet, you would have to pay at LEAST $8,000.00!!

They need to be protected!! I sure hope that will be done b4 it's 2 late 4 them!!
