@SchneiderStudios, hey thanks for your reply. one more question- will i be able to fit 50-500mm sigma lens in it - attached to camera (Nikon D5000) or unattached? the only other equipment that i have is a 18-200mm vrII. no other lenses, flashes etc. so, i'm not looking for a very big bag. thanks.

Is the bag all black?

From all the sites I try and order from it seems to have a strip of navy blue.

I need a bag for carrying around a camera in snowy conditions (i.e. wet). I'm not sure if I want this or the Slingshot 100 AW.  The All Weather cover seems nice for these things. My question is, do you feel the material is plenty durable to withstand wet conditions (snow). Another concern is that the Slingshot won't be as "stable" on my back. What do you think is the better buy? Any other recommendations?

I have this bag, and while I think its a great bag... its VERY small and doesn't hold much. As a starter type bag for someone that doesn't have much equipment its great but after only a few months I am out growing it.
