@docscot11 Hi, you should contact Paul Pontois who lives in Canada. I do not know about 295, but about 360 and 380. Paul can provide plans for these models also. Regards.
The engine sounds great. The flying Flea. I built one. A very dangerous aeroplane in a number of flight modes. For the cost and the limitations. Its not worth building. It looks good and fun but man what a difficult and limited aeroplane to fly.You really have to watch the angle of attack on the front wing and lowering the nose can be very dangerous without a Cosendy flap
Yes indeed a citroen 2 cv engine is good enough, but you will need a speed-reducing gear for your propeller. Contrary to the VW engine the 2 cv engine turns too fast to allow you to fix the propeller directly to the crankshaft.
Hi, yes, it definitely is a flat 4, 1600 type. I have been told that the modified 2 cylinders are not so good because still heavy after the modification. You lose power but not much weight. Regards.
Oh yes, it will manage. But if you intend to build a flying flea, you should opt for the tricycle landing gear, it will be much easier to control it on the ground than with the classical one.
Cool plane,cool Mustache & beard.

It sounds like 170 Hp. as opposed the the 17Hp in the original .... it looks real sweet. Has it flown yet?

Yes it flew, it flies well, unfortunately ground loops well also! The engine is the VW engine. Regards.
