download the latest version of redsn0w, download your firmware from flexiburns (google it) then open redsnow and go to extras, click manually select ipsw, the find your firmware, then go back and click jailbreak, then check install ipad baseband, after that your good to go.

There's an update for ultrasn0w to work on 5.12.01 and the new ios4 baseband...to do it google for a custom firmware and once u have cydia search for ultrasn0w and then you'll be unlocked thank me If this works for u

If you have the iphone 3g and you have the baseband 5.11.07 you can only downgrade your baseband if you have a 5.08 bootloader. You can't downgrade your baseband unfortunately.

If you have a 6.2 bootloader you have to open up your iPhone find the simcard chip and program it but the other way is to send it to UK and they will do it for you ( if you pay).
