I don't want to start any arguments here, but would all this suffering in places like Georgia, Ossetia, Chechnya etc have been avoided had the USSR stayed in-tact? The philosophy I am trying to get at here is that I believe the problems within the old Soviet Republics are down to their lack of economic skill and knowedge of Capitalist infrastructure. So the only route they can take is through corruption because basically the countries are not ready or are unable to cope with capitalist ways
I mean yes the USSR style of Governance is oppressive that too is true, but on the other hand it was fair because everyone at least had shelter and was able to get food (granted not fabulous choices) but at least it held disparate religions, cultures together, and the system came down hard on those who rocked the boat or tried to destabilise the situation. I don't know - just a few thoughts. I knew a young lady (very attractive here at uni in the UK, and she was from Georgia)

I find it very contradictory that the current government "released" her mother, considering that she probably ended up there because of the current regime, and it is because of the current regime this has happened. That drug addict should be hanged (Blood Revenge).
In the end Sakaashvili and Bush didn't get what they deserved. Russia should have bombed the pipeline running through Georgia.
The US has violated every agreement they signed with Russia after the cold war. All Eastern European countries wanting to join NATO should be invaded and their US puppets put to death, end of story.
Gori is close to Ossetian territory, and Georgia is small so using any territory in Georgia is closed to civilians but Gori where bombs were dropped is 25 miles away from Gori Army dislocation. So Russia did it to "punish" georgia as Evil Putin says"!
The only help anyone could give this little girl is the death of Sakaashvili and all of the US's puppets in Georgia. The so called 'revolution' in Georgia was CIA funded and the Georgian government is a US one. The Russians showed they will bomb the pipeline and I wish they had. Death to all US puppets around the world!!
AAAH I don't conform to NeoNazi ideals by which the so called International Community (US/Israel and collonies) are being driven. I am as brainwashed as those people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Cuba, Venezuela and other countries who want all US puppets to die a horrible death. Oh wait, Batista was a lovely guy. Poor you, you who think you are so versed in history, can't get me, who actually reads instead of watching Faux led news to agree. MOTHERLAND!
No, I'm not Dutch, amidoinitrite? I'm not, Russia did.
poor child, i hope God gives her and her family a better life. no child should ever go through such horror and grief. no government on earth cares for its citizens it is only for us to care for our selves and eachother.

You people are so fast to jump to death as the solution to all problems...don't you think that fucked up mentallity is perhaps the REAL PROBLEM?
Death to nobody. It seems when we try to kill someone little girls lose their eye.
I wish every soldier on Earth would just throw his gun in the mud right now and go home to build a better and more peaceful life.
War will get us nowhere.
