i used the lake on the dessert map and made a huge city over there (i didn't filled the entire map only 35% of it)

I got bored of Cities XL 2011 after the first day I played it, with its to many annoying objectives and you can't choose what buildings/houses you want because the game randomly chooses the bulidings and houses for you.

how do you get rid of subcultures. Ive got a city of 10.000.000 people but its 94 percent have-nots 5% blue collars and only 1% suits and the havenots keep beating the suits up.

how did you make the industrial boat ferry thing stand on the beach. It keeps saying this is not the right terrain. Well you did it on a beach Im on cape coast African mode & I can only get the marina & the fishing ports from blue collar to work but not the big industrial ferry transport. So how do I do it? also alot of the fringes wont work in their own industries even when they are surrounded by fringes & have many fringe attractions close. Blue collars interfering? Clothes factory etc noone!

If you are refering to the cruise ship(its not industrial, its a way for turist to visit you city) you need to build a close road next to the wather. Somethimes this won't help, because there are only certain spots you could place them. I build roads next to the wather allover the map, but only got one good spot for it. Im not sure about the other things.

try it on the coast of Africa, cape coast its called you cant do it like you can in new York where the coast line is not sand but hard rock or grass. I've now discovered something you guys haven't & that is you cant build the industrial boast on a place that has sand. only marina fishing boats & fringe Beach HOUSES. NOT THE INDUSTRIAL BOAT. it SAYS THIS REGION IS NOT RIGHT. there are a few things always locked out saying not available fro this mission. & end game = no blue fringe or have nots!

im gunna get this game but i cant choose between cities xl or city life do you know which one is better i wont one with like the Eiffel tower

well I got both, and i prefer cities xl, but that is probably because i am a huge graphics geek. And its depends on you computer.

I do not think City Life cost that much, its a bit old compare to cities xl. You can buld the Eiffel Tower in both games, but its a bit harder to get it in Cities XL, then this. Even if you choose cities xl, you probably need to play online which cost about $10 a moth to build the ETower, buth both games are fine...you shouls look more into both of you are nor sure.

one thing that might be good to know is that City Life has a lot of bugs. I don't think I've seen a game with more bugs than this.

There like little programs that let you pres ALT+F11 or something like that for Unlimited money, or super cheats, stuff like that.

Kinda like Game Sharks for PC.

@chaosproduction easy in the beginning but after a while when u have to make oppertunities for higher class citizens and create areas for them then it gets hard, city like this i cant make. hard to get the economics right
