Simon Johnson on Wall Street's Influence Over Washington

Without grinding Wall Street down to a much smaller and tightly regulated entity our economy will never recover from the crimes they have perpetrated. Money needs to be invested in new emerging businesses that provide intrinsic goods not some mirage of a investment vehicle dreamed up by Wall Street. Most importantly the law needs to prosecute and punish these crooks, and the punishment needs to be on the Taliban scale of 1-10 at least 9.
