What is strange is that before the founding of Israel the Palestinians were of three religions, Jews, Christians and Muslims. As a people they were all closely related. Then instead of creating a secular state where all religions would be equal a Jewish state was created, with a determined effort to reduce the other religions to minorities and drive them off the land, and replace them with European Jews.
